I find it very telling that the Constable talks about how it's the pedophile hunters who may be endangering children, and the proposed solution is policing the web. Meanwhile, the rank and file officers who do the real police work shake Stephen Dure's hand.

I'm not sure I like how they escalated the language from citizen investigator to vigilante. Fucking Batman is a vigilante. I mean in the popular sense of the word. Ore than as it may be I fear them using that as a word that labels concerned citizen investigators and groups the, together I order to suppress them. And how can anybody trust the Beebs anymore? If any investigators go to the police they'd better go in groups of five or more. Because there is strength in numbers, and they can easily single out solo acts and weaken their credibility; or even worse intimidate or threaten them into silence, or release their information the very predators they might be pretending to try and catch. The whole system is corrupt from top to bottom.

Chief Constable Simon Bailey who earlier this year caused outcry when he personally advocated to stop prosecution of those caught in possession of child pornography as there are "just too many to prosecute" and that such offenders pose "no immediate threat to children".

Also they need to stop ignoring reports aka Saville and Heath.

They don't need the police to help they just need to legalized vigilante justice.
