People in this country love children. Unless they are Immigrant children. They have no interest in protecting them, for they will only grow up to steal their jobs. Sorry, to be so cold, but that is how I feel. I really believe that if there was concern there would be an outcry. Just like they don't seem to be listening about the child trafficking, because they think it is those "Other" children. The raping of children by Border Patrol Officers shows that they are not carefully selected nor backgrounds checked. All children should be protected. We are going back to Victorian Era Evils, as brought out in the Post of @Forgetmenot . Yes, there are some people that care, but they have again succeeded in making many of our people hate those from anywhere else but here. I have seen hatred on here as well. I have been the receiver of it because of my user name, even though I am not Hispanic. BUT, at one point they hated my people too. Germans. That is why I do not harbor any hatred for any Immigrants. It will continue as long as we allow it.

yes yes yes. people don't care about immigrant children or children they consider "the other". the darker the shade of skin, the less many people care. it's sick. not taking care of these children will hurt ALL OF US. allowing these kids to be abused hurts all of us. it makes me sick how people pick and choose to care about some children but not others. The "Us vs. Them" mindset is the downfall of humanity and the impetus for evil. once again, you rock.

Yes, it is a sad commentary on our humanity. Sometimes I think the world is going to hell in a hand basket and then I think that maybe because we see so much evil in our research that we have become jaded. There must be more people that are good and love all children or we are doomed. I am going to think the best even though I believe more have fallen. Maybe it has always been there and now is just coming out because they are stoking the flames. They are pushing pushing pushing people to hate. We must spread love of all children. We just must.
