For those of you who were planning on showing your support for Victoria Martens and spreading PG awareness next month, you'll have to wait.

According to police, Michelle Martens watched as Gonzales, her boyfriend, and Kelley, his cousin, drugged her daughter before sexually assaulting, strangling and dismembering her. They are each facing first-degree murder, intentional abuse of a child, criminal sexual penetration involving a child and many more charges.

August 2017:

The first trial was originally scheduled for October of this year, but attorneys argued that taking an “unusually complex” case to trial so quickly – as required by the court’s Case Management Order – might put their clients’ constitutional rights in jeopardy.

Brown said Chief Judge Nan Nash agreed to sign an order declaring that there were exceptional circumstances in the case, which let Brown push the trial dates back by several months.

This is such a heartbreaking case, and it's not difficult to see how this is related to PG. I'm sorry that Victoria isn't going to get justice next month, and I'm very curious as to what the "exceptional circumstances" are. I'll do my best to stay on top of this and keep it updated.
