@LightlyToasted , this is an interesting article -- unfortunately I have to remove it per Rule 1 because it's not really Pizzagate-related (only indirectly). That's why we have v/pizzagatewhatever . Can you repost there? Thanks.

Please help me understand the deletion as Backpage has been a subject of numerous (10+) pizzagate submissions: https://searchvoat.co/?t=backpage&b=on&voat=1&s=pizzagate&l=true

Backpage is HOW child sex trafficking is allowed to occur with the assistance of Silicon Valley. It appears directly relevant to pizzagate.

You have to establish a plausible connection not just to child sex trafficking, but potential involvement of the rich and powerful. This was a decision made early on by the community developing the definition of "pizzagate related" linked in the sidebar. We recently revisited the subject of expanding Rule 1 (a couple of weeks ago) -- and the consensus again was that people didn't want two dozen threads a week about creepy lone wolf basement pedos.

Ho Sad. How very sad, that we cannot protect our children anymore. Corporate Yay-Hoos are more important. Sad commentary on our society.

Mother had to buy her daughter back from sex traffickers | Daily Mail Online

'A mother described the chilling moment she found an online advertisement offering sex with her 13-year-old daughter on a classifieds website. '

'Kubiiki Pride, from Atlanta, Georgia, found her daughter, identified as MA, on the escorts section of Backpage.com nine months after she disappeared. '

'Something about the stars and hearts caught her attention, she said, and she clicked it to find explicit photos of her daughter. ', "The photos showed her daughter wearing only underwear and posing provocatively. 'I called and asked to purchase the services myself,' she said."

'In 2011 Pride sued Backpage.com - arguing the website facilitated child sex trafficking - but her case was dismissed under 230 of the Communications Decency Act. '

"However the website never faced any penalties and refused to take down explicit photos of the 13-year-old"

"At least 150,000 children are victims of sex trafficking in the United States, and 80% are sold on Backpage"
