Evan Rachel Wood[1] (born September 7, 1987 )[2] is an American actress, model and musician. She began acting in the 1990s, appearing in several television series, including American Gothic ( 1995 –96).

Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina. Her mother, Sara Lynn Moore, is an actress, director, and acting coach, and has converted to Judaism.

This is true. Even for people who are not in the public eye to the degree an actress or actor is, coming forwards is extremely draining and dangerous. I have been out as a survivor for some time, and I have definitely paid the price in terms of shunning, exhaustion and emotional fatigue. Some people lose their livelihoods or their marriages or other significant relationships. The scale of justice is tilted toward the offender when it comes to sexual assault.

Evan Rachel Wood has come forward in support of victims of Weinstein's sexual abuse and sexual harassment. It's a very good article and explains why children and adults don't come forward, don't name names, why they are afraid for their lives sometimes, etc.

In 2016 she said the rapes were "many years ago". From her IMDB page, it looks like she started in Hollywood at the age of 7 or younger. How old was she when she was sexually assaulted? Was it by a big Hollywood name? Looks like she hasn't shared any further information yet. I do think this adds a little light on her relationship with Marilyn Manson when she was very young, as she has clearly been through some very dark things.
