"Statement Analysis" is usually very, very good and certainly brings in a LOT of new insights. Far, far better than a professionally done "Lie Detector Test."

She's comparing the answers between Madeleine McCann's father and Paddock "the Patsy's" brother when asked an almost identical question. That is, if by any chance he had an inkling something bad was going to occur.

Both answers are beyond preposterous, ridiculous, ludicrous. Men outside the entertainment business just do not use superlatives, like just have in my last sentence, in the course of normal conversation. Additionally it would be extremely inappropriate, even sociopathic, to try and make an extremely lame joke as a response to a very serious question.

The interviewer is trying to find out if there's any reason the interviewee might possibly attribute to the tragic turn of events. Yet the reporter doesn't want to influence the answer. A man with a conscience would be expected to say, "I just cannot understand why this tragedy occurred. I don't get it." Some men would be speaking in a stoic or a resigned tone of voice. No sane person would be joking or give an "off the wall" answer.
