What GOOD comes from calling it an orientation? Nothing. I'm with JudgeJewdy. We are increasingly moving towards a society where common sense and decency is persecuted and vileness is protected. Pedophilia may be a sexual orientation, (as in someone who is only sexually attracted to kids) but it is still NOT possible for children to consent so any act on the pedophile's sexual urges is RAPE. Even if the kid says it's okay. Kids can be manipulated easily and tend to be scared of older people. There might be an okay from the victim but there are so many reasons for that okay to be given.

My only hope when it comes to this acceptance of pedophiles is that we will be more able to identify them and make sure we keep kids away from them.

They need to be away from others, by any means necessary.

power comes from many things. younger women tend to be more powerful than older women, older men tend to be more powerful than younger men. women's power comes primarily from male deference. an attractive young woman can get men to voluntarily assist her, they can even get many men to pay for the occasion. men gain power by being wealthy and holding high social status. ultimately the person with the most power is the person with the most different options available to them, this can be gained through many different advantages.

I was just a kid when this idea was floating around but I always laughed because children cannot consent, therefore there is no way to make this okay, just like we will never make rape okay. Manipulation or coercion for sex of any kind is wrong, informed consent is key, and children are not capable of calculating and giving informed consent. That's why I always laughed it off...but I was also 12 or 13 years old when I first heard "first homosexuality, then pedophilia."
