I'd like to know when someone will start an investigation as to why the police did absolutely nothing at the time. Distracted by accusations against MJ is a very poor excuse. They're not as big an operation as LAPD nor as beholden to Hollywood. The entertainment industry isn't paying as much money to their officers out on temporary disability to work on movie sets. Yes LAPD are hired to direct traffic and to keep the public away and etc on sets. Adds up to a lot of $$ for semi-retired & temp disabled officers needing a super easy gig. Lessens the drain of the pot of retirement pay.
