i mean im sure the earth is not flat, but is it really that "far out" for some to think it's not (or question it) especially in light of all the fake history and fake news that's been heaped upon westerners for centuries? you're almost a sucker if you don't question (at least) about everything that's been put out there by main stream sources. however, again i dont think the earth is flat

Well it just goes to show a lack of understanding of basic physics. Anyone who understands how gravity shapes objects in space, a concept I understood in gradeschool, wouldn't even need "photo evidence"

hard to argue that as i've forgotten most of my physics education and rarely if ever think about the stars, planets, etc since gradeschool 30 years ago . it's been a while but when i spent a couple minutes trying to understand the FE theory, what i was looking at tried to provide some scientific support/theory for what we view as the stars and planets in the galaxy tho I don't recall finding it that convincing

Hahaha, not assuming everyone's an idiot at all lol. I've just met a few people personally, who want to discuss their theories with me and I want to discuss my theories with them.

I've met people who are all over it but fail to explain it to me let alone themselves, falling back to(essentially), "The government has lied about x/y/z, who says they wouldn't lie about the shape of the Earth?", which isn't necessarily untrue, but, it's not proof by any stretch.

On the flip side, I've met people who emphatically deny Flat Earth on all counts - without ever bothering to explore the concept/subject themselves, simply calling Flat Earthers, "Crazy", while then ignoring absolutely everything that person has ever said/done, or will ever say/do...

That said, I prefer to save that particular subject of conversation, for when I eventually get to catch up with an old buddy of mine, who has decades of experience over me.
