"The wildly popular Toy Freaks YouTube channel featuring a single dad and his two daughters has been deleted, amid a broader crackdown on disturbing children's content on the video streaming platform. Toy Freaks, founded two years ago by landscaper Greg Chism of Granite City, Illinois, had 8.53million subscribers and was among the 100 most-viewed YouTube channels before it was shut-down on Friday. A YouTube spokesperson said in a statement: 'It's not always clear that the uploader of the content intends to break our rules, but we may still remove their videos to help protect viewers, uploaders and children. We've terminated the Toy Freaks channel for violation of our policies.' 'We take child safety extremely seriously and have clear policies against child endangerment. We recently tightened the enforcement of these policies to tackle content featuring minors where we receive signals that cause concern,' the statement said. "

Radio National on the ABC in Australia had their tech guru interviewed about these YouTube videos featuring children on Friday. This is mainstream media in Oz. They even asked YouTube for comment.

It doesn't show how many subscribers this channel has. Does it for you guys? I've never seen that before. They must have suspected this. The videos have been being uploaded to this new channel since July. The last one was uploaded November 16th. Videos have had views so I don't see why it wouldn't show the amount of subscribers.

I don't understand how it could of been appropriate for the last 2 years. If you go to YouTube and click almost any kids content and hit a suggested vid, then another suggested vid..ect ect.. a large portion always end up to questionable content by a child friendly sounding channel

Why are we cheering censorship on Voat?

If you think those kids are being abused then the videos are evidence of a crime, not something to be removed itself.

If you think the videos are harmful to children, don't let your kids watch them and warn others about the issue.

Because the videos are deceptive and geared towards children. We know that many parents don't monitor their kid's activities. We know there there are kids being psychologically harmed and we want them protected. Just like we care about kids being trafficked, even though they aren't our own. 😩 If you want to watch sick things like that, you can find it on the net, but it doesn't belong on a venue like youtube where there are rules and terms of service.

My take on this stuff is why was youtube pushing it so hard. I don't care if it's removed, there's all kinds of wacky shit there. But why does youtube refuse to allow people to block channels when it's been requested for years? Why are these videos given inflated view counts and are being pushed into the recommended lists with regular kids videos?

a video with 9 million views "earns" about 13.5 thousand dollars, when properly built..."unique enough" content and over a specific length.

roughly 1,500 dollars per million views.

"companies" like QQTube will charge 450 dollars for 1 million "fake but organic" clicks/views.

the channel manager/marketing company gets 45% (generally) ($675)

so for 1500 of earnings, they might clear $375.

use a metrics plugin - some of these channels earn more than a million dollars a month, so the operators are pulling down 200 to 300 thousand.

i've done lots of research on these clowns, and i have lots of information about the ground level "operator" group, they're not always great at concealing their locations or even their names. it's wide spread and pervasive. they exist all up and down the east coast, in several hotspots in the midwest, and in a few west coast locations.

i see them in canada, london, brazil, ukraine, russia, and vietnam. there is a presence in australia and japan which i haven't fully mapped out - but once i realized how many of them really were in the U.S., that's where i concentrated. I am convinced that there is a group behind the group which ties it all together.

It's a series of videos that use characters that are of interest to young boys and girls, like Elsa from Frozen, Spider Man, the Joker etc etc that spam and infest children's videos on youtube. These accounts have been tracked back to doing these things for almost two years.

They have countless harmless videos that spam the feeds of "children's accounts" on youtube but every once in a while, their videos deal with grotesque sexuality and perversions in subtle forms. They're suspected of being some type of grooming content. These videos on youtube broke on the pizzagate sub over a year ago but it never gained traction but as the kids that watch these videos, more of them get recommended in the child's feed, and as the child clicks deeper and deeper into these videos and related videos, the recommendations in their video feed gets more and more fuckin' weird.

@Vindicator , the Buzzfeed article or the UK Daily Mail article mentioned that the law enforcement "determined the girl was not missing." When I spoke to CPS the lady was really sarcastic about it - I had to do two different reports to get my point across. I am guessing that they never did a DNA test and all they did was help Greg Chism cover everything up. Someone used the Irwins' credit card in May 2012 or so to buy a birth certificate on the dark web. It was weird how they said he was under ongoing investigation one day and then a few days later he was "cleared."

He told me in chat on Discord that I had to pretend to be naive if I wanted to survive. And basically to STFU and that they would be making their communications more secure. A couple of days later (after sending me threats) he deleted his own channel "as a precaution." according to one of those articles. Now I'm being harassed under a different name - he was going by Richard Nesbit and Richard Dickeson while harassing me online, and using photos of dead bodies and videos of a boy being beaten up, etc. Also a redhead being taped up / for sale.

Interesting. @Bigfish (Twitter) had the same experience trying to report the CP he found on Alefantis' server. You might talk to him and see if he has any advice about what more you could do. You also might share your documentation with Craig Sawyer at Vets4ChildRescue, he seems to be turning out to be fairly serious.
