Honestly what can be done? So often when the US has gotten involved in the past, the situation for the poor people ended up much, much worse.

This is exactly why I was so upset at Germany's Merkel and the UN for demanding Westerners take in so many refugees. Real refugees are eternally grateful for any relief from suffering. They would never rape the children of their host. The babies and kids of Yemen are the real refugees. Worse they're the type of victims that so often fall prey to child traffickers.

You're right, it hasn't gone well in the past... per what I said to @carmencita , though, look who's been running the show when it comes to US involvement over the past few decades, at least. Maybe there's a better way to help, that doesn't involve deliberately corrupting those you help along the way? /shrug

Why is our country not sending help? These people have nothing to do with any of the stupid war, bombs and stupid espionage garbage going on in this world. No body cares. They are all watching their dumb arse football and sports and still checking out the farce skit on SNL about Come Back Obama. They have their heads up their rears while their is a GENOCIDE being forced on the People of Yemen. I want to Vomit.
