ELSAGATE: Archiving YouTube channel discussions ( pizzagate )

Hi All,

This is a follow up to this thread here: https://www.voat.co/v/pizzagate/2245339 . In this Elsagate themed thread, it was discussed how several youtube videos had the comments removed so researchers could no longer try to descipher the code. While I have yet to figure out a way to archive youtube video comments, I did find that the **channel ** comments could be archived. If the channel has a discussion page, (e.g. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCenMWMQOjul4ufo49xkvTYg/discussion http://archive.is/Tc2U1 ) it can be archived and the comments will pick up. Unfortunately, some channels do not have this feature on them.

I hope this helps even if just a little. Let me know if any of you find a way to archive video comments.

IShallNotFear, one thing you might try is taking a screenshot from you phone or tablet. My Android devices have a "scroll shot" feature that lets you screenshot multiple pages in a single jpg. It pops up when you screenshot the first page.

Save the web page as an HTML file from your browser. It will save the HTML printed to the browser for archiving. I'm sure there is a better way out there, but it's a start.
