Hhahah, Not their problem, their agenda. There is no PG investigation.

Our job is to alert people who will care about Youtube’s filth. When they lose advertisers they will change their ways.

This post seems like a focus (and) redirect attempt towards other issues. Though maybe the whole FCC net neutrality retake after only 6 months is to shift public focus! Like we saw with other "big news" around killary earlier on.

Dude,.. I get your frustration, but the reply you got is correct. The FCC doesn't control content on websites. You're mad about them fining a bare breast on broadcast TV, but that is in their domain. Broadcast channels license the limited range of available frequencies, and have to conform to the terms of that license, Web sites aren't broadcast in the same way, and certainly aren't licensed.

Hey, do what you want to do, but hassling the FCC over this only wastes taxpayer dollars writing you the same reply over and over. You might be more effective sharing this information (as you are doing -- awesome) and maybe writing advertisers instead.

☝️Yes, this. A good old fashioned letter writing campaign. Let us compile a list of big/medium advertiser on YouTube and their contact information. There are 15,000 users on voat. If we each write a letter, sharing out outrage, and push others to do the same... trust me. It will have an effect. Email is good, physical mail is better. They will freak out. I know it seems tedious, but if we all do it it will be super worth it. I will start compiling info and make a post soon. Does anyone have any info to contribute to get started? Advertiser, bad content contributers, good screenshots of the stuff we are complaining about, etc. That recent post about the YouTube sex searches is useful here.

You have a good point.

I do find it frustrating that the FCC wants to let corporations throttle the internet, thus throttle communication and education, and while having their fingers in that part of the internet pie, won't step in to stop a corporation from exploiting kids. Given their hair trigger for fining people on other media platforms such as television and radio, they won't do crapola about this.

I like hitting them in the nuts with losing advertisers-- that's a good idea. But I want more. I want those channels shut down, I want youtube to implement ways to block those particular search strings (don't tell me Google can't do that sort of programming)...

I want Disney hit in the nuts, too, for failing to cease and desist the elsagate fucknuts. If they'll take bakeries and daycares to task for daring to use their intellectual property and profiting off it, why aren't they doing jack for those on YT doing despicable things with their precious property?

Am running with the advertiser idea. Google has kindly offered us a leaderboard of the ads people preferred to watch last month...and all the months before. A huge fricking list of companies.

We need some targeted memes.

carmencita

We should probably target the bigger and most well known ones to gain more speed. Memes would be a very good start. Great Idea.

Why would anybody down vote you

carmencita

You got that right. #itswar

Unfortunately most of these laws and regulations don't to jack, they are only for corporations protecting themselves and to benefit the elites. You need to have your own decent community and have groups police like a community themselves and if something criminal is caught have a system where police or cops do something about it. News keeps coming. Why does the Hollyweird L.A. County Sheriff Badge have a Pedophilia Symbol on it 5 times? I agree. More Light must be shined on these Pedo Badges and Questions Must Be Asked and Answered. Memes should be tweeted out with the Pedo Badges. I really believe people will sit up and notice. It is a Shocker.
