It's hilarious because it seems those not seeking re-election took the route they thought would "look" better, but people are totally seeing through it anyway. Who knows, maybe some have legitimate reasons, but putting that aside; I think it's safe to say some of these people could be trying to avoid a shit ton of bad press or accusations.
