it was trace amounts and came up negative on the follow up test so, possibly a contamination or, I dunno... i dont think it was high enough on the first test to even be measured, so even if it was there, it was maybe from a few days or a week prior, not the day of his death.

I am looking at the meds that came up on the toxicology and it doesn't mention anything about cold meds. It says possible positive for MDMA but the follow up test said no. Sometimes other medications like cold or flu meds do false positive for MDMA, like sudafed. However it looks like they didn't test for those.
