The whole Roy Moore debacle has definitely shown a light on Evangelical Christian community, especially with the numerous child abuse scandals that have recently surfaced.

merica_fk_yeah

there is REAL abuse and then there is the abuse of false accusations. I don't think Moore did any of these things, because it was never ever out there before and he has run for judge, been involved in politics a long time. there rumors would be there. this is all a dangerous bunch of shit is what it is. that woman forged his signature, she lied. her family says she lied, her friends say she lied, and so i don't believe her. if she was telling the truth she would have been believed by her own family if that were true.

saynotomeat

FUCK YOU JOHN PODESTA, FUCK YOU JAKE TAPPER!!!

saynotomeat

doesn't it bother you all that some people made some allegations, brought in the alleged yearbook, BUT, PODESTA'S EMAILS HAVE BEEN OUT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW, AND STILL NOTHING AND EVERYONE IS CALLING US CRAZY. FUCK YOU MAINSTREAM MEDIA, YOU PETA ASS SUCKERS

NoBS

DNC rig the Vote does fine with false witness "Statements" with NO documentation. other than a Fraudulent Textbook and the Feminist lawyer/Extortionist Gloria Allred.

Gilderoy

The yearbook entry was a complete hoax. Thomas Wictor pounced on them immediately, and it was fascinating watching folks on Twitter rip them to shreds. By the end of the day, the signature, printed note and initial "D.A." were completely exposed as a clumsy, amateur fraud.

BlueEyedDevil64

exact opposite. get a clue.

Common Sense is breaking out even in Alabama. This is amazing that the veil of Ignorance ruling the deepest south has been lifted.

Lets celebrate the power of this movement. Pedo's are powerful people and always have been. So what? Take them all down, whatever their party affiliation.

Thank god

voatuser9999

In no way is Roy Moore a pedophile. Your own book of Alinky tactics says accuse your opponent of what you yourself do. I'd say your own comments out you.

common_sense

So by believing credible evidence that someone is a pedophile makes me a pedophile?

LOL. Just how retarded are you, exactly?

Vvswiftvv17

It's not that much of a victory. He only won by a narrow margin of 1.5 percent. The margin of error is 5 percent. Think about that -- the voting public just barely prefers a Democrat to an alleged child molester. That's not good news for the Democrats. If he had beat him double digits, then yes, they could scream from the hilltops, but he didn't. In fact he can't even say he marginally beat him, because he didn't do that either. He just squeaked by.

Are_we_sure

Margins of error apply to polls not election results.

I assume both parties have dirty vote rigging tactics going on in every state. The rigging system must have been very powerful on the Republican side in Alabama due to "voter" history.

That a Democrat won against such a powerful state party machine, by only a slim margin, suggests the real vote was much stronger against Moore than will be ever officially acknowledged.

This was a vomit vote against a person weighed down with credible accusations of molesting underage girls. I love it, the women are suddenly being believed more than these powerful men. It is a changed world.

Kacey

In Alabama, for a democrat 1.5 % is a huge victory!

Cara_C

It's not a victory. If the allegations against him are true, the worst thing Roy Moore did was touch the breasts of a 14-year-old over her bra and guide her to touch him over his underwear 38 years ago. Not good, of course. But there are no allegations of force, rape, intercourse, or any sexual contact with young teenagers in almost 40 years. The allegations didn't come up before in all his many years in public life and only came out after he won the primary, making them look like a political hit. Also, some of the allegations are fairly nonsensical - he hit on a 22-year-old, he bought some drinks for a 18-year-old when the drinking age was 19 - again 40 years ago.

The swamp protects people who do so much worse. I didn't like Roy Moore as a candidate, but I'd have been happier with him than with anyone the establishment supports. I'm much more concerned with stopping those people in our government or protected by those in our government who are currently raping, pimping out, kidnapping, and trafficking children, from newborns to teens, using them in child porn, torturing and murdering them in ritual abuse, selling their organs, eating their glands and flesh and drinking their blood.

common_sense

That's pretty fucking bad when he was in his mid-30s, dude. What if the 14 year old went along with it? He would have had sex with her, so the intent was 100% there. No excuses. The "when" doesn't matter.

Millennial_Falcon

The one woman admitted to forging the signature, and the story of the other woman doesn't add up because the restaurant she mentioned did not serve alcohol. It may be that the only thing he is guilty of is dating as young as he legally could (i.e. 18-year-olds), and the CIA used that for a dirty-tricks campaign to keep Trump from getting another supporter in the Senate.

Forgetmenot

Yep. Very true.

Skeptical2017

It doesn't pass the stink test.

duhiki

What I find interesting about Moore, is why didn't the allegations come forth back in what, 2003, when his face was everywhere due to the Ten Commandments in court thing. His political opponents would have circled that incident like thresher sharks and exploited the hypocrisy of a supposed man of god being all dirty with the under-aged ladies. It would have put a quick end to the Ten Commandments bull, imho. The timing is weird, and the whole shitfest with the yearbook makes it at least those allegations super f'n shady ("here's proof, he signed her yearbook" to "well, we don't know if he actually signed the yearbook. Sure looks like it, even though his signature includes the initials of his legal secretary because he wasn't 'DA' at the time.")

So why run with it now? Granted, there's the changed climate of outing predators, that could play a big part. But I think it's has more to do with muddying the waters. Kinda like chucking people who aren't with the establishment (pedo central) under the buss. "He's a pedophile!" Well, if those he allegedly preyed upon were past puberty, then no he is not. Words have meaning. It's like the media is trying to grease the wheels of acceptance that "pedophiles" target those who are legally underage, when the actuality is, "pedophiles" prefer those who are prepubescent. This is important. Very important.

If the victim is under 18, but older than 15, the predator is an ephebophile. "Child molester" still applies though. If the victim is aged 11-15, the predator is a hebephile. "Child molester" still applies though. If the victim is 11 or younger, then the predator is indeed a pedophile. "Child molester" still applies though.

By calling non-pedophile offences the work of a pedo, it muddies the water around the topic; the populace starts associating pedophilia as relating to 16 and 17 year olds. Lessens the impact of true pedophilia when it hits the news, imho. Fucker is still a child molester, no doubt, but when we mislabel actions, we're not helping.

(sorry for the rant.)

mooteensy

Thank you for that rant. Seriously.

Forgetmenot

I am afraid you are right, something just does not sit well with the whole thing.

SterlingJB

He, no matter the authenticity of claims, is kinda a nut job. Surprised Trump put a hand out considering cost. Unless some sort of magic 5d was going down

zeroinstinct

It's about time you showed it. Moore was a child abuser.

carmencita

What makes you think this will help Drain the Swamp? The Deep State backed Doug Jones and so did Soros and Schumer. I don't get your analogy.

Forgetmenot

I agree.

common_sense

I'm not making an analogy. I'm just glad we don't have another pedo in power.

VoatIsForTimmy

Wait a little while.
