Thing is ppl focus on if someone had an encounter with another person prior to the other being 18/omg, 17 pedophile. I see it all the time...we need to find out if 'he' was with anyone that was under 18. Even disappointment when where it happened was in a state with a lower age of consent. It has gone nuts imho.

When I was 17 I dated older guys, early to mid 20's bc they were very gentlemanly and I did not feel like a piece of meat on a hook. I enjoyed intelligent conversation and someone dropping me off without trying to 'score'. I started college at 17. Just bc someone has a relationship or even brief affair with a teen that is consensual does not make them a pedophile. It does not matter if one considers a relationship with a teen say 16 or 17 appropriate, that does not a pedophile make and I think we need to keep that clear.

In many ways this has turned into a witch hunt and by doing so we sully the whole movement. If you think about it, who would benefit from doing so and how much have we been fueled by ppl interested in sullying such?

Most of them do belong but a few may not. Remember that we did not know about some at the very beginning. Hopefully those names are safe. That is a pretty long list but as we know there are many more to come.
