Originally, we only had 10 flairs. We now have 20 possible. I've added a couple over the past few weeks...how about some suggestions for others you'd like to see us start using? Here's the current lineup:

Since you have DEBUNKED, why not highlight when someone on Voat has gotten it right?

Maybe CLAIM VERIFIED or something along those lines. And how about a VOAT WATCH for member predictions or when one of those indie pundits gives a tick tock tick tock for an event to come.

Maybe it’s just me, but I’d like to know my flair potential before I make a submission. Not to criticize, or create more work, while some of these are clear in meaning, some may need some definition. For instance:

Is it correct to say, “Old News” means old to this site , not news that happened a long time ago that’s relevant to pizzagate but not discussed here at any length?

What’s the difference between “Accuracy in Question” and “Possible “Disinformation?” Do these mean, a sub that’s simply questionable for reasons like not well-sourced vs. information that’s intentionally inaccurate or misleading?

Great points, r4r. "Old News" is really only used when someone makes a post that is old information in a way that could be interpreted as new. For example, the recent "CIA Langley shut down" threads, in which someone posts articles from 2014 in conjunction with rumors that the Marines had landed. When people make link posts without saying they happened two years ago, that kind of thing. I think we actually gave that Langley post a "Disinfo" flair, though, because it was really egregious.

Accuracy in Question is basically a nicer way of saying Possible Disinfo. We don't use it much...mainly when a source seems questionable but it doesn't have a known history of disinfo peddling. It's also good for things that are breaking -- where we don't know what's true yet, or not, due to mixed reports. Possible Disinfo is something that fits a known pattern of fake news or shilling, either the way the info is presented, or the source of the info (like yournewswire).

Usually things that qualify for either of these flairs are also in violation of one or more the submission rules and can be deleted. Sometimes we flair them and leave them up for the purposes of public awareness.

Also, ideally, mods aren't using flairs in a vacuum. Everyone should be commenting when something ought to have a flair, and pinging us to do it. And upvoating or downvoating comments requesting flairs if you agree or disagree. :-)

Thanks for clarifying. I'm all for flairs, and these are really good. And, understanding them in advance, especially the ones perceived as negative, might prevent an argument or two (lol, maybe/probably not).

How about "Original Research". With so many posts these days being links to articles or repostings of what happened on 4chan, it's nice to know which posts are original to voat.co/v/pizzagate. Connecting the dots is, in my opinion, that best part of pizzagate.

Maybe code words for the different types of forensic analysis teams on our side, first coming to mind ike photo experts, language experts, tech experts, game/makerr expersts, just different scientific realms experts biochemistry sort a generalized call for back up if something drops and think its got to do with weapons but it's less clear than you'd like you paste the flair those of us will know who we are...just an idea.....also anopertunity for people to shine where they can...I think this could done anonymously.

A "Help!" flair is a definite good idea. Maybe keep the flair general, and then the submitter can say what expertise is needed at the top of the post?

The "Share!" flair works for Red Pill and Meme to Share.

"Known Shill" will nust lead to mod hate if we fuck up.

"Swamp Takedown" works for Indictment, and other things like resignations, unexpected retirements, irrefutable exposures leading to job firings, etc.

Do you think we should have a special one for Indictmemts?

Swamp Takedown is good...higher level than Indictment. Maybe if they really start rolling them out, it deserves its own tag? I think things are starting to break based on my assessment of developments w/FBI and QAnon.

I think a "MK-Ultra glitch/meltdown" flair will come in handy... The monarch/kitten beta-programming will experience malfunctions due to lack of reinforcements from handlers who's busy taking shelter from the storm.

How about "Research Roundup"?

One thing I've been considering is a "Roundup" flair for really excellent mega threads that summarize all the evidence gathered on a topic and link to all the best research -- think a single thread that can be easily shared that links to numerous original threads, explains what they found and why it's important.
