Daily Mail had to moderate the comments, which they usually don't do. :-/

I don't bother to comment when they say that the comments are being moderated.

Fuck Cambridge and Oxford; a hotbed for degeneracy and arrogance.

I have always had issue with the term "sleep with". It's "have sex with", in a consentual encounter; and "child rape", in the case of this story.

jizzswizzler

oh yeah so literally no mention of who 'forced' them to go to these bars in the first place.

i smell bullshit.

Here's the story in the local Cambridge newspaper: http://www.cambridge-news.co.uk/news/cambridge-news/former-cambridge-sex-slave-sold-14064566?_ga=2.54029352.1247613376.1514742904-790167846.1514742904

The woman, who cannot be identified for legal reasons , says she was abused by violent men, and that Cambridge students were among those paying for sex.

So, that could be the explanation for a lack of detail.

think-

'...they were taken to flats where men lined up to 'do what they liked with us.'

She described the undergraduates who paid for sex as 'rich students who you could tell were training to be politicians and saw themselves as very privileged people.'

The unnamed woman, who grew up in Cambridge and is now in her 50s, says her abusers targeted girls with low self-esteem.

She added: 'There was a lot of gang raping and really violent men. It was really quite horrible, especially for underage girls.'

One man hurt her so badly that she ended up in hospital.

'I thought I should either kill myself or run away. I went to Manchester and it kind of changed my life,' she said.

There's no saying .British elites. Must be investigate more. Sad story, but need more evidence than this. The universities past photos of graduates. If someone raped me like she's describing. I'd remember faces no matter how many years have past. She needs to point out there faces from that time period. Then who's still alive can face charges..

jizzswizzler

doesnt make me angry at all. what it reads to me is that someone had a problem with alcohol at a young age, no one stopped her from going into the bars (which is bad) and therefore everything that happened after that was rape and everyone elses fault.

i read a half story that makes little sense unless you suspend disbelief and just take her at her word. Luckily i literally dont fucking trust anyone at all and think about it a bit and all that keeps coming up in my head is 'where is the rest of the story, and why arent you telling it'

I'm afraid this grooming issue is far more complex.

Remember Rotherham and all the other British cities were girls have been groomed and later were forced into prostitution.

That's the whole point about grooming: establish a situation where the victims will accuse themselves, not the perps, and can't find a way out.

They often come from dysfunctional families and are used to being treated badly. It's a downward spiral.

'where is the rest of the story, and why arent you telling it'

You'll find that's a common theme with modern news stories. I agree that the lack of contextual information makes one wonder how true or false the story is. If it is true however, it points to the institutional grooming of young people who are going on to influential positions.

The article reminded me of this Rense 2012 article:

http://www.rense.com/general95/mkultra.html

In recent years with the rise of Internet file-sharing, a major shift in pedophile profiles has appeared in the increasingly lower age of pedophiles. It is shocking that college-age men, who should be involved in same-age affairs (with either sex we are not being judgmental about preference) are instead eager to abduct kids who are barely out of infancy and videotape brutal rape scenes to share with their online fellows. Today, young men of college age serve as procurers, pimps and producers of child porn for their sugar daddies.

think-

Yes, remember that there was a scandal at Eton where older boys abused the younger ones.

Also, there was a 17 yr. old Eton guy who filmed and distributed child porn. It was discussed here. He went to trial, but only got a slap on the wrist, and was send to do some therapy sessions. Police and the judge never cared about where he got the kids and what happened to them.

'Sex slave': I was forced to sleep with Cambridge students | Daily Mail Online

'A woman has claimed she was forced into sex slavery at the age of just 14 – and made to sleep with Cambridge University students. ', "She fled to Manchester after deciding that she needed to get away from Cambridge. 'I thought I should either kill myself or run away."

'The unnamed woman, who grew up in Cambridge and is now in her 50s, says her abusers targeted girls with low self-esteem, the Cambridge News reports. '

'The woman also said that they suffered violence at the hands of some of the men who paid for sex, including undergraduates from the prestigious university. '

'She said her abusers groomed the young girls by buying them alcohol and drugs – but violence was used to control them. '
