i recommend dr. robert hare's book called "without conscience." it's an excellent primer on the phenomena of psychopathy. it certainly woke me up to a reality i didn't know existed. he was the first to do EEGs on known psychopaths, and when the results came back from the lab, they stated that the results could not possibly be from human beings! they were not aware that the subjects of the study were diagnosed psychopaths.

actually that's not entirely true, but pretty close. they do feel the emotion of "rage," and exhibit this quite frequently to their close, primary source of psychopathic energy. usually a significant other, but can be other close family members as well. then they put on a phoney facade to everyone else, gaslighting the primary target and getting others on their side by pointing out how crazy the target is! meanwhile the primary target, or significant other, is wondering what the fuck is happening to their emotions, spirit, soul & possibly finances. so they have a very limited emotional range and rarely if ever feel fear or anxiety the way normal people might. consequently, they can act with impunity.
