I am in the mindset that if there is evidence that there should be no statute of limitations on child molestation and rape. It takes decades sometimes for people to come to terms with what happened to them and to get away from people that may have been negligent or possibly involved in what happened to them. There are many parents/agents/managers ect out there that never did right by the children because it didnt behoove them to do so for financial reasons. It can take decades to get away from situations like that and kids should have justice. Time takes time as they say.

Usually when something surfaces on someone publicly, it's just the tip of the iceberg. If someone was once accused of being a rapist, there are likely many who remain silent. The guilt, shame, stigma...all of that keeps a person quiet for years. Often someone will deny it, push it back just to survive because when it surfaces they breakdown mentally. This is why you will see former victims sometimes even friendly with their rapists, they are in denial because acknowledging the truth fully can cause a total mental collapse. The documentary was done by a victim of the family, which is why it is portrayed in a strange light. Almost all the daughters that were molested by this monster, went to see him in the hospital. This is real, this is how the abuse works and to those criticizing how anyone deals with sexual abuse/assault & trauma...why they keep in touch, why they don't do anything, all I have to say is...you likely have never been sexually abused & simply have no idea what it does to a person.

The trick is to start asking questions: Why does the academy protect and admire polanski? who else in the academy is a pedophile?

As a French citizen, he has been protected from extradition and has lived in France since. In 2010, British actress Charlotte Lewis, who appeared in Polanski's 1986 film "Pirates," accused him of "forcing himself" on her in 1982 in Paris when she was 16. Robin M went public in Los Angeles County in August 2017 with her claim that Polanski sexually victimized her in 1973 when she was 16. She said she told a friend about the incident the next day, then did not speak to anyone else about it for more than 40 years. She initially feared that her father would "do something that might cause him to go to prison for the rest of his life". Robin M will not publicly discuss details of her case. In Oct. 2017, a German woman filed a complaint to Swiss authorities saying Polanski had raped her at his house in Gstaad when she was 15. Former actress Mallory Millett became the 11th woman to accuse Polanski, saying he tried to violently rape her twice, once in a New York hotel in February 1970 and another time afterward.**

We've stayed silent until now. We feared. But, we can no longer be silent and allow this man who sexually assaulted little girls to enjoy fame, recognition or an honored place in history.
