I don't see what this has to do with pizzagate research. This excerpt is talking about confidential patient records, which would only be accessible by medical staff treating the patient in question. They are talking about keeping potential bias out of clinical studies (and perhaps maintaining patient confidentiality), which is why they anonymize the patients.
