Sackajahweeda

Please GOD help them find this savage and make an example of him...May you finally have peace to the 8 children that have been attacked and killed by this monster.

carmencita

YES! I have a feeling the people will be on them pushing them to do their job. At lease I hope this is not a flash in the pan. This takes a lot of courage to butt heads with those that are steeped in Sick Tradition.

Sackajahweeda

Hopefully these women (and men? are there any speaking out?) dont receive blowback from speaking out. It seems like it could be more dangerous or at least just as dangerous to speak out about the rapes as the rapes themselves. This MUST CHANGE!!

carmencita

I imagine it is just as dangerous for men, especially since it is mostly (although not always) men abusing and killing these children. I did read about a couple fathers that spoke out, but of course those wee the fathers of abused and murdered children. MORE MEN must come forward in defense of the children. This Must Not Stop. I believe more countries will be added if this is not quieted.

Sackajahweeda

Sure it cannot be easy to discuss something that makes your family qualify for things such as honor killings or at least family shame that requires some kind of restoration of that "family honor". I cannot imagine having to choose between your family your religion and your station in society. Of course the choice would be clear to us as Americans but living in that society would be far different. No wonder parents say KEEP QUIET ABOUT IT.

carmencita

The sad thing is, that maybe there is even someone in their own family they are defending, whether by choice or under severe threat. I imagine though that the younger people will start stepping up. It is mostly the older ones and the very poor that can be stubborn and scared.

Sackajahweeda

I dont know it seems like the younger folks seem to be even more radicalized these days. Perhaps thats my western white girl review of things? Maybe thats just in the western world and things are getting better in other countries outside of my limited scope.

carmencita

I think the radicalized ones our on the outskirts where they are easily brainwashed. The ones in the cities getting an education and having cell phones and learning and jobs and traveling those are the ones we will be hearing from. That is why the internet must be extended to all including the poor. Not the very poor but those one step above. There will be those that will be curious enough to save for the proper connections.

Frieha Altaf, an events manager, model and actress who tweeted about abuse she suffered as a 6-year-old, said Zainab's death is a catalyst to challenge shame and fear that silence victims and their parents.

"There is no stopping now," she said. "For me, there is no stopping now."

But Abid cautioned that change isn't necessarily unstoppable. Frank language about sexual assault will likely bring a backlash from religious conservatives and many parents who oppose discussing sexual issues and hold tight to traditions that ban mixing of the sexes, consider girls responsible for the family "honor" and even forgive killing a girl who marries for love.

That comment reminds me of the American "rule" .... NOT to discuss politics or religion in public.

Who did that benefit?

Politics effects your life every moment of your life ...

And religion is a political system when it supports patriarchal societies and aims to control not only its own members, but the behavior of all of society.

And unfortunately religion has controlled our patriarchal societies and our press.

carmencita

Whenever we would gather at Holidays someone always would say, We should not discuss politics or religion for we will end up in a heated discussion. But before you knew it, What were we discussing? Politics and Religion! Yes, we sometimes Ruffled a Few Feathers, but it was all good. Everyone was still speaking to others when we left. A Real Miracle.

Votescam

Americans were generally very behind in discussing politics -- not like the French or the Irish .... Maybe the difference -- and this thought just came to me -- was that we lived under the belief that we had "Separation of Church & State" ... where as France was a Papal State originally and the Irish certainly knew they had had RCC forced upon them. They understood the politics of the RCC and its lies and the harm done to their nation by the church.

I'll have to give that some more thought, but at the moment it sounds OK to me.... :)

carmencita

I love the custom of running out into the streets and protesting whatever. The protests we have here though are sometimes for the wrong things. People do not protest for the injustices of the poor or the old or the children. Very sad.

Votescam

Agree ... which is why the entire LEFT has to come together and stop fighting for the same $1 buck donation. No reason why women's groups shouldn't be supporting NAACP and vice-versa - or why both shouldn't be supporting Social Security and Medicare4ALL.

Why wouldn't environmentalists support women and people of color? Why wouldn't they support animal-rights where animal-exploitation is a great source of Global Warming. And, of course, everyone involved with trying to clean up our drinking water and stop pollution.

Elites/right wing have always been united in every way possible -- up, down and sideways.

A number of prominent Pakistani women have come forward with their own stories of sexual assault, saying they want to change traditions that consider abuse as a mark of shame for the victim. Those traditions, they say, help predators get away with abuse and encourage an already corrupt police force to ignore such crimes.

Maheen Khan, a legendary Pakistani fashion designer, tweeted that she had been sexually abused as a child by an Islamic cleric who taught her the Quran. "I froze in fear day after day," she tweeted. At 73, Khan has spoken publicly only once before of the abuse.

"We are now saying enough is enough. We should have woken up long ago," she said in a telephone interview from her home in the southern city of Karachi. "I am ashamed to say it has taken this one little girl's death."

"What disturbs me the most is the silence when a little girl gets raped," she said. "It has to do with the honor of family. Parents tell their daughters: 'Don't talk about it. Don't tell anyone.' Our silence is saying it is all right to sexually molest a child."

carmencita

So Awesome. Her words mean so much since it is the first time they were spoken and her age. She is naming a Cleric. A Cleric! A Holy Man. A Holy Man no more.

Votescam

Also impressive these last few days, Rachel Denhollander re abuse by Nassar -- gymnastics coach. The first to come forward.

This is patriarchy unraveling ... and it will lead us to sexual abuse of children by males.

carmencita

There is more to Nassar than just him. There is a ring that he is protecting. The Olympics have been hiding severe abuse for years. If it unravels it will be another Jerry Sandusky

Sackajahweeda

I hope that she is safe. I know speaking out is not only taken as half word but also very dangerous. I pray for her peace and continued safety.

carmencita

Me 2.

It's about time the women in Pakistan are heard. If not now, how many children will suffer and die while the police remain silent.

carmencita

I just know there are women in every country that would love to cry out. There is something holding them back. The reason this came about is because of that poor little child. Why must something Horrid and Heinous happen before people cry out.

Samime

Human rights are God given by our creator... no man/person has the right to usurp this! But luciferians keep trying. We are part of the great turning... cry and then rejoice in our tears that it has reached the ears that need to hear!

Random101

No, human rights are fictions, essentially they are nothing more than political bargaining chips.

Those rights then which God and nature have established, and are therefore called natural rights, such as are life and liberty, need not the aid of human laws to be more effectually invested in every man than they are; neither do they receive any additional strength when declared by the municipal laws to be inviolable. On the contrary, no human legislature has power to abridge or destroy them, unless the owner shall himself commit some act that amounts to a forfeiture. Neither do divine or natural duties (such as, for instance, the worship of God, the maintenance of children, and the like) receive any stronger sanction from being also declared to be duties by the law of the land. (Blackstone's Commentaries: INTRODUCTION, SECTION 2: Of the Nature of Laws in General)

carmencita

Yes, I believe people are beginning to hear. But our voices must not stop. We have to keep up until all have heard.

Samime

Woman was meant to be a side by side partner with man... not his personal slave! It’s even in the Bible... helpmeet not slave... every religion has been perverted!

carmencita

Yes, our religions have been twisted to convenience them. The pope is a fake. Others have also been infiltrated with false beings.

Samime

Worship my Jewish penis...

Samime

Making statues of yourself means you wish to be worshipped as a god... he must be the pedophile god!

Narcissism

Narcissism is a form of private religion they are their own God.

Samime

The upside is narcissis drowned through lovevof self... just like the selfie picture club... they are drowning themselves... and the cantysee theirr own demise!
And nothing of value was lost!

Narcissism

There is a big difference between someone who is a bit Narcissistic and a Pathological/ Malignant Narcissists.

Samime

That’s where the psychopath psychiatrists get you... keep dividing that diagnosis into oblivion... If your brain is that fucked up.. you gotta go! End of statement.

Narcissism

The psychiatry profession did the opposite they REMOVED Narcissism in all its forms from the analysis manual the DSM-5. Psychiatry is not a Psychopathic profession but rather a Narcissistic one.

Samime

A rose by any other name is still a rose

Narcissism

Saying Malignant Narcissism and Psychopathy are the same is like saying a Hyena and a Tiger are the same because they both lack empathy.

Samime

I thought we were discussing what comprises a real human? If you lack a conscience and empathy and feel entitled... it ain’t human!

Narcissism

"They should be killed immediately... along with all cluster B personality disorders!" Wow, you want to kill people..... sounds like you may be Cluster-B yourself.

Samime

They aren’t human...

carmencita

Yes worship of ones self is always wrong. Worship of another is always wrong as well. Love is Good.

carmencita

But Abid cautioned that change isn't necessarily unstoppable. Frank language about sexual assault will likely bring a backlash from religious conservatives and many parents who oppose discussing sexual issues and hold tight to traditions that ban mixing of the sexes, consider girls responsible for the family "honor" and even forgive killing a girl who marries for love. SHE said that for Her there is No Stopping Now. This is what it will take. Commitment. I read it over again and this time I had to cry. I had glossed over about the little girl that was found barely alive. She has to live with that All Her Living Days. Horrid.

think-

Unfortunately, you always have to expect a backlash when speaking up against sexual violence.

And even when things change for the better, they might change for the worse again later. Never take human rights for granted.

carmencita

I think that is the one thing that almost all of us that are awake have learned, is just what you said, Never take human rights for granted. And that goes for all peoples. Not just one's own.

think-

Yes. When I was younger, I thought there would be a continual progress re improvement of human rights over time. Like a natural development.

But now I see this isn't the case. You always have to be vigilant, and you always will have to take efforts in order to prevent things getting worse (again).

carmencita

Yes, I guess we always thought that others would never do the things we have read and now know. Now, we must always keep our eyes and ears open. No Trusting Those In Power.

GreenDell144

I could only read about half... now I’m crying like a baby. Country after country... so much to pray about.

carmencita

I know. It is hard to read but the fact that these women are crying out is amazing. The little girl and the others Broke My Heart but the women Gave Me Hope.

GreenDell144

YES. Thank you for sharing. We need to see that we are not alone. This is the pizzagate/voat of Pakistan. If only we could connect with them somehow.

carmencita

If anyone has a Twitter acct. Tweet to Her. Maheen Khan, a legendary Pakistani fashion designer, tweeted that she had been sexually abused as a child by an Islamic cleric who taught her the Quran. "I froze in fear day after day," she tweeted. At 73, Khan has spoken publicly only once before of the abuse. Here is her Twitter: https://twitter.com/maheenkhanpk/status/954934366081310720

think-

Thank you for linking this, Carmencita.

As far as I recall, there wasn't even a law against sexual abuse of children in Pakistan until a few years ago.

Especially in Eastern Pakistan, close to the border to Afghanistan, rich men still today will have male child sex slaves (comparable to the Afghan tradition of having male child sex slaves).

I do hope this will have an impact on the Pakistani community in Britain as well.

carmencita

That's what I am hoping for. That people are waking up. The women will have to Take The Bull By The Horns. But let's hope this keeps up and turns into a Movement.

carmencita

CAN THIS BE TRUE? Are Women All Over The World Speaking Out? Women in Spain Demanded Take Down of Woody Allen Statue and Now This. From article:A number of prominent Pakistani women have come forward with their own stories of sexual assault, saying they want to change traditions that consider abuse as a mark of shame for the victim. Those traditions, they say, help predators get away with abuse and encourage an already corrupt police force to ignore such crimes. THIS is happening everywhere around the world. The Rape of A little girl and her murder has shaken these women to their core. This is pizzagate related because it proves that their is a Global Epidemic of Rape and Abuse of our Children.

think-

CAN THIS BE TRUE? Are Women All Over The World Speaking Out? Women in Spain Demanded Take Down of Woody Allen Statue and Now This.

I didn't even know that there was a Woody Allen statue in Spain... ;-)

But seriously, #MeToo has had a huge impact in Europe. Many in the US don't realize this.

In France, there was a hastag inspired by #MeToo, called (translated) '#RatOnYourPig' - it focused on naming names!

In the wake of #MeToo, the European Parliament had a debate about sexual harrassment, and, for the first time in its history!, female MP members talked about harrassment and rape by EU officials (!). One of the hightest EU bureaucrats, former Dutch Foreign Secretary Frans Timmermans, said he had been abused when he was a boy (!). (He may be part of the gang, though - but still..this has been so important, especially for male survivors).

So, #MeToo isn't only a 'fabricated Hollyweird stunt', it already has had a huge impact in many countries.

carmencita

Yes! I did a post on the Woody Allen Statue In Spain https://voat.co/v/pizzagatewhatever/2354391 AND, at this point whether #metoo is a fabrication of Pedowood or not, if it is, then I am sure they never thought that Europe would be Changing Course. We must keep posting about this and those that have Twitter, please Tweet those in Europe that are speaking out. Tell them #URNotAlone

Sackajahweeda

Someone should make a cage and surround the statue in it.

carmencita

Stupendous Idea!

think-

Thanks for linking your submission! Somehow I missed it.

Yes, definitely, when it was a fabricated stunt, it clearly got out of hand, lol.

GreenDell144

It is also pizzagate related because of the children that were forc3d to have sex at gunpoint. Child labor laws and poor parenting, police corruption, government negligence.. all p-gate.

carmencita

Yes, and unless people Take A Stand, nothing will be done. You are so right. Child labor and so much more are contributing to PedoGate.
