Well, he was close with Marlyn Manson way back then. He was said to have a fascination with the occult which doesn't make him guilty of anything but him standing up for the Memphis 3?? Whatever wome told me about him I'll refrain from gossip but yeah, I mean, Alister Crowley, Manson and then Tim Burton(who I had worked with). I was somewhat naive but Burton was a joker about cannibalism. Had dinner once with him and Paul Bartel. Seems so innocent on the surface, Bartel's film, Eating Raoul. Think again. I agree with you. I always thought based upon what he did in his final years that he maybe realized he had gotten involved in something that he really didn't want to be involved in. Not saying he's innocent, but maybe he had a shred of humanity or conscious left that made him try to take a step back. Reminds me of Stanley Kubrick. I bet a lot of them are lured in with the idea that Satanism is about rejecting the notion of God and doing depraved shit like this and still being successful in life are the proof that God does not exist. Only, I think as they move up the pyramid, they realize that the Satanism isn't merely rebelling against religion, but that it is an actual religion. I always thought Johnny Depp was overrated as fuck. The same phenomenon that makes people under their 40s to think Ariana G is a great singer or Cold Play a great band. I had come across the story of the young boys many years ago when reading of the Franklin Scandal stuff.

Then Johnny Depp goes and rallies for the Memphis Three, the three guys who ritually killed those three young boys but claim they didn't and were set up. I always wondered why Hollywood rallied around them. I mean, of all the cases in the US of wrongly accused people, and Hollywood throws their weight around such a horrific case? I personally think the Memphis Three are guilty as sin, but Hollywood helped free them, Johnny Depp being head and center of the charge. I think that is why Johnny Depp has aged so horribly, because the evil in him.

As for aging horribly, my sister thought the wrinkles were prosthetics. Celebrities do age worse than normal people and it's not just your perception from watching them age.

Yeah. Even if I didn't know what I know and suspect about him, from watching that clip it's clear to me he has what I call "the blood lust." What I mean is exactly what it sounds like.
