I once hitch hiked across the country, 20 years ago. I met satanists everywhere, everyday. There were many, like predators on the street, enticing the urchins with a place to stay, food, clothes, etc. It was sublime, almost unnoticeable; especially in DC. That city was almost post-apocalyptic. Passing through on foot was an experience. We passed boarded up buildings for miles.. we saw a line of cars waiting to be served crack like McDonalds. Even cops were doing crack right there. This was before cell phones were common, I guess. Almost every time we found someone helpful, offering us a meal or place to crash, turned out they were satanists. It ended the same almost every time too: weird creepy vibes, an expectation of sex... lots of drugs. When we refused and walked out, again and again... to get on our way and avoide getting trapped (especially in DC, Virginia) they would curse us, and just get inexplicably insane. LOTS of wiccans, rituals, candles, fake vampires, voodoo. There were weird brands of satanism for all types, blacks, whites, gays, etc. That really stood out and made us regret the whole thing. My buddy and I realized it would have been better to just get jobs and buy bus tickets, and avoid all of the spiritual predators.

Wow, I am so sorry that happened to you. And I am so grateful you had the courage to post this here. Thank you. People need to know this. It's also where I get a little irritated at my Christian brethren: this is supposed to be OUR job to help out and clearly we dropped THAT ball. I truly hope things ended well for you and your friend. If you don't mind, could you go into more about the different types of satanism you witnessed: for blacks, whites, gays? Gays in particular, as that one was a bit of news to me.

OH yes. That was twenty years ago. At the time, I was’nt really scared or traumatized, just constantly weirded out by a strange and unreasonable culture that I didn’t understand. It grossed me out at some stages, but mostly I just ignored it at the time. My friend and I were on a foolish endless summer kind of adventure. He was trying to connect with a long lost absent father. I was tagging along as a loyal friend. Later, on reflection, I see God’s hand protecting me from all kinds of pitfalls that I was oblivious to at the time. I can only speculate that he saw some things in my heart that had remained from childhood: respect for the Bible, empathy for the weak and innocent, a belief that God or Jesus are real because the evidence is all around us and undeniable. As I interacted and socialized with satanists, I found again and again that it wasn’t about a reasonable argument with the die hard satanists. With some it’s just rock’n roll Halloween stuff, and those may be open to thoughtful exchange of ideas; but others just HATE Christ and God, no matter what. Now, as a father and adult, I’m grateful to be here, and I take all of that satanism stuff very seriously. No worries though. The Creator is a million steps ahead of his rebellious angels. That one reason why they are so furiously opposed, I guess.

Indeed, but those burned were burned as a consequence of really sneaky real ones that saw the writing on the wall. Makes you all the more furious that they had the nerve to be vengeful for the witch burning when THEY escaped anyway and many were martyred that had no idea that they were pawns used by satanists.

I've known of people that claim that they do sex magic for positive purposes. However, I heard an analogy that says: If you were in a car and the driver got out and committed a crime like robbing a bank and you were stopped in the car, you would be convicted as an accessory to bank robbery. Makes sense to me. If you really don't understand why you're doing something spiritual-don't do it. You'll end up the sucker caught in the car.
