https://ballotpedia.org/Family_Foundation_of_Kentucky Hard to find any info they evidently want to hide. This is their recommended official website http://www.kentuckyfamily.org/ Which really just lists a bunch of Bills Hmm. It seems somebody at FF is in favor of child marriage. Could be Ken Ostrander the Top Official

The opinion of the conservative group opposing it is that parents should be making the decisions about their children's marriages instead of a government judge.

I understand that there are some crack headed parents that will marry their children off to perverts but do we want the government telling people when they can and cannot get married when kids end up pregnant?

Look at what a mess CPS is, comes to mind.

But is it really going to help if you compound one incredibly awful mistake (getting pregnant out of wedlock) with another (marrying someone simply because there is a pregnancy)? I don't think any children should rush into getting married, even if they are having a child together. No one under the age of 16, though, should get married at all. Period. Even with parental consent. And in many states in the US, you can actually get married younger than 16 if a parent says it is okay.

It's awful when yes, crack headed parents and perverts cause these kind of problems, where we have to even worry about this stuff. There has to be a way found to protect kids from idiot parents and the pervs. Head Scratcher.
