Is this really her attempt at a comeback after her shock-and-awe photo where she is holding the likeness of Trump's bloody, severed head? Call me a "square," but I am definitely not on board with what is passing as "comedy" these days.

They probably thought that Kathy was unnecessarily slandered after her ridiculous severed head stunt and are giving her this opportunity to win back favor with the Masses, slipping in references to the blood drinking, cannibalism and murder as a middle finger to the dedicated researchers. I agree with you, her skin does look quite odd! I'm pretty sure it is Griffin acting in the skit, but could certainly be mistaken. (Looked up the year- Amy Winehouse died in 2011)
