Some people have said that closing down Backpage.com will make it more difficult for law enforcement to find victims and arrest perps. Think about this. If it were an open slave market, would it be shut down? Yes, because it is illegal to sell people into slavery. But will it go underground then. It's always been underground. Wow!!! Backpage is circling the drain. Besides being a platform for sex trafficking, they helped pimps rewrite their ads so it wasn't so obvious it was children being prostituted.
