As The Free Thought Project first reported in June of 2017, comedian Daniel Tosh raised concerns with objectionable content found on YouTube. Tosh revealed how the “Seven Super Girls” channel—while it is geared to teenage content creators—likely also serves as eye candy for pedophiles looking to indulge in streaming videos of real kids in compromising situations. The channel remains active and unrestricted.

“Someone or something or some combination of people and things is using YouTube to systematically frighten, traumatize, and abuse children, automatically and at scale, and it forces me to question my own beliefs about the internet, at every level.”

This is a great step towards awareness. All apps and devices are so easy to use. I swear, my one-year-Old has observed how we use the iPad, and he wants to. When we let him try... he uses YouTube to go to his cartoon easily. That shocked us. Never let your kids on YouTube alone. Even 13 seems a little young, honestly, with all of the hate, sex and drug stuff out there; let alone the pedo-grooming.

Thanks for giving us an age on that. Just because people think of their "tween" as a mini adult, they are not.

Yeah, and seriously... my ONE-YEAR-OLD (18 months) can operate YouTube no problem. For me, that is a litmus test showing the potential ease of directing material at small kids.

carmencita

That is exactly why they made them so easy to operate. User Friendly. At any age.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

This site is not allowed by my provider. I can never go on there even when I search it out myself. I always hope someone will oblige.

Sorry to hear that. Any other sites you can't read? I'll try to archive those as well.

Thanks, but that is the only one so far. I have iron clad protection due to a friend.
