yer it is a red herring, bc the FBI confirmed they have a bunch of Hillary emails from it - we do have it in evidence that Granite received the laptop in order to presumably bleachbit it, but they only had it for 3 days before the FBI hit them with a warrant to turn it over. Then the news came out that they had Hillary emails on it, so it doesnt look ike they got around to the job b4 the FBI took it

I am unaware of any source in the public arena of an NYPD member corroborating Eric Price's verbal claim (claim alone, Prince provided no document or image im aware of to back up his claim) that NYPD had Weiners laptop or other devices

but what we DO HAVE in a pretty high standard of evidence is the FBI warranting Granite for Weiners hardware, the Feds ran the case against Weiner til he pleaded guilty, so the Feds had the hardware all that time

so when in this chain of events did the NYPD have the opportunity to have Weiner's laptop? If you are to speculate that they had it, they HAD TO GIVE IT BACK to Weiner for him to then deliver it to Granite and if THAT happened, it would suggest the NYPD were corrupt / compromised

so how are your standards of evidence? You have totally unsubstantiated claims, versus hard evidence that significantly reduces the likelihood of those unsubstantiated claims

it doesnt mean you have to be 100% conclusive that the NYPD never had it, it just suggests that you have a confirmation bias at work on your thinking process if you do not concede the greater likelihood that the NYPD never had the laptop
