Whatever you think of Mel Gibson, he's got some baggage.. he's also been in the film industry for decades and has seen it all.

In this 11 minute interview, he talks about being successful and surviving Hollywood. Around the 7:00 minute mark, he starts talking about getting used to the way things work there. While he doesn't name names or mention pedophilia directly, it's pretty clear to what he's alluding to.

Gibson spoke in vague generalities, so we don't really know to what he was alluding, whether it was about pedophilia. What I'm disgusted by is him saying that one has to succumb to Hollywood in order to get along and get things done. In other words, he too sold his soul to the Devil.

From personal experience, the parts about walking into a room and everyone is in on it but you and also finding out your nightmare notions about somebody or something turning out to be real are absolutely positively true about LA and the entertainment business. It is fucking incredible how bold faced and depraved it is.
