She is also a eugenics advocate. https://www.thecatholicthing.org/2009/07/14/justice-ruth-bader-ginsburg-eugenicist/

The MSM ran interference for her, of course, and downplayed what she said, but it is clear as day to me.

Thank you for this. Here's the full NY Times interview your linked article refers to: https://www.nytimes.com/2009/07/12/magazine/12ginsburg-t.html?pagewanted=1&_r=1&sq=Ginsburg&st=nyt&scp=3

This is RBG's remark from the interview in context, revealing her naturally elitist mindset: https://imgoat.com/uploads/ef059938ba/117203.png

This all utter bullshit. This was brought during her confirmation hearings and explained. She wrote an article about using gender neutral language when writing laws. She did not take a position one way or the other on the age of consent. She was not writing at all about the age of consent. When asked directly during her confirmation she said she had no problems with the existing age of consent laws.

What she did argue is that by not making the language of some laws gender neutral, you could read the law to say men or even boys could never be raped.

TL/DR She was absolutely correct and enemies of her confirmation tried to distort what she wrote.
