Can someone summarize for me how the dem's argument that this only started happening when Trump took office works? What was happening before the zero tolerance policy? Were illegal immigrants not sent to fed jail (or walmart I guess) when caught? Was it a catch and release thing before? Or are they saying it's happening at an increased rate? Honestly just trying to figure out the argument for this being a partisan thing.

No. Before the rules were introduced, the board was spammed with cp, disinfo, and forum sliding posts.

The rules were made by the community. Mods only make sure that they get enforced. (And personally, I'm glad when I don't have to flair or pull posts = means less work. :-) ).

They started the process of converting Walmarts years ago and it was going on when that biatch was Secretary Of State.

The answer to this problem is simple >>> If you catch a family entering illegally simply deport the whole family back to where they came from. In my opinion the reason this does not happen is because it opens up opportunity for both parties to benefit by exploiting the situation. They get to scam billions of dollars in taxpayer dollars to their foundations and NGOs "solving" a problem they intentionally created.

They also get access to thousands of children to brainwash any way they please. They can mold these children into whatever type of asset they want these children to be. They can mold them to be soldiers, mercenaries, operatives of all kinds, laborers, and sexually exploited.

Children are a valuable resource for these scumbags which is why they prey on our children so much. The reason nobody will do anything about it is because both political parties are exploiting it while they pretend to "fight each other" over it. The "battle" is probably just a battle for control of the spoils of the exploitation and taxpayer dollars because nobody is going to jail for it.

...this is coming from the woman whose personal intervention mitigated a child trafficking sentence of a woman who took 33 Haitian children -- some of whom still had parents! Hypocrisy level > 9,000!!! Alinsky tactic to accuse others of that which you do yourself....

That said, this absolutely sucks for those children in both cases. Shame on the parents who would risk being separated from their children when they could otherwise go through the Asylum process and gain admittance/ immigrate legally.

I think this is important. The protection of children has to be an issue that everyone cares about. This needs to not be a party issue.

Who cares about the immigrant children in detention centers? We all do! Who cares about child sex trafficking? We all do! Who cares about elite pedofilia? SRA victims? CPS corruption? We all do.

And we need more people to KNOW and CARE.

I know the media is coming down hard on trump for this. Like really hard. It’s getting all the coverage. I feel like this is an opportunity to bring people together in our cause! People are upset about the mistreatment of children in detention camps but just wait until they know what we know.

How can we spread our message wider? We need more people.

Many decades ago it took 5 yrs. to gain your citizenship papers. Now it takes at least 9 years to even get a green card. What makes people come over the boarder yes, are the Sanctuary Cities. If we followed the laws as they were decades ago, we would not be having this problem. And also, what our country has caused in Mexico and SA, has also contributed to loss in jobs. When people have no way to earn money to support their families they will use extreme measures. The Clintons, Bushes and Obama have all been a cause. This falls on the Democrats and Republicans both. This happens all the time. Many do entice citizens to become citizens themselves. Unfortunately many end in divorce. But yes, there also some that stay married and find true love. It is a very hard thing.
