His mentor was pictured with Bill Clinton. That is close enough.

That's how they defuse situations. This guy had lots of connections and thinking journalists are now asking how an unqualified 22 year old got to head an umbrella organization for other more established humanitarian NGOs. THAT's the big question. So idiot plants come along and spread the false rumour that he was a Clinton campaign official. Even that he headed it. So now it becomes a Republican vs Democrat thing. And the idiot sheep repeat the falsehood without checking their facts. See how that works? Upvoat for you for pointing it out.

MolochHunter

ive seen a photo of joel with clinton campaigners. but as to whether he was a schleb or anywhere elevated in the campaign hierarchy remains, to my knowledge, unsubstntiated

Nana66

If they actually passed up using him as a voice for anything on her campaign then that was a huge oversight on their part.

Blacksmith21

There are pictures of the motherfucker in a campaign office or some HRC-related event. That's good enough for me and doesn't change the crime which he did.

If he's guilty, hang him. On TV.

No evidence has been provided by True Pundit that Joel Davis held an elevated position in HRC's campaign. TP should issue a correction or clarification, to at least say "FBI sources told TP...," if that's what it was, etc.

Also, PolitiFact is considered a fake news checker apparently...so it's hard to know the truth.

Phony baloney: The 9 fakest fake-news checkers

PolitiFact

In December, PolitiFact.com was identified by Facebook as one of the sites the social media platform would use to label “fake news” stories. But Breitbart reported, “Facebook’s decision to tout PolitiFact as a credible and independent fact checker is awfully disturbing, given the organization’s repeated smear campaign against Donald Trump throughout the 2016 election.”

“OH HELL NO,” was the response from the Weekly Standard’s Mark Hemingway to Facebook’s announcement that it would use PolitiFact.com to check news stories.

“Facebook is bringing in Poynter/PolitiFact to police ‘fake news’? They’re INCREDIBLY biased,” he said.

In December 2015, PolitiFact claimed 76 percent of all Donald Trump’s statements were “mostly false,” “false” or “pants on fire.”

Breitbart noted that PolitiFact pushed “fact checks” to discredit Republicans while promoting stories that favored Democratic Party nominee Hillary Clinton.

In fact, one of PolitiFact’s largest contributors is Clinton donor Alberto Ibarguen, president and CEO of the Knight Foundation. Ibarguen contributed $200,000 to the 8th annual Clinton Global Initiative University meeting in February 2015, Breitbart reported. The Knight Foundation also donated between $10,000 and $25,000 to the Clinton Foundation, Politico reported.

Thanks for adding that . I don't trust any of them . Just thought this was interesting.

exposethecriminals

It is interesting. I'd like to know whether TP's claim is true or not.

Cc1914

Exactly ! Regardless , the guy is a degenerate.

Websites wrongly claim man arrested on child sex charges was a Clinton campaign official | PunditFact

This has been an automated message.

Cc1914

The charges have made news for several outlets — including the Washington Post — because the perpetrator was a well-known activist working to prevent sexual violence. Before his arrest, Joel Davis was the founding executive director of the international organization Youth to End Sexual Violence and a member of the International Campaign to Stop Rape & Gender Violence in Conflict, an international group of human rights experts.

But some conservative websites have tried to attach another, unsubstantiated label to Davis, writing that he worked as a "campaign official" for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign.

We found no evidence to support this claim.

"Clinton campaign official arrested by FBI on child rape/trafficking charges," said a June 27, 2018, headline from Puppet String News, an "alternative news" source, according to its about page. The Puppet String News report cited an article from blog site True Pundit, which in turn linked to a story from Daily Mail, a British tabloid newspaper. Several other blog sites with histories of peddling falsehoods online published similar articles.

Hi @Cc1914 , thanks for this post.

Would you consider adding this paragraph as an intro to the body of your post, please:

The charges have made news for several outlets — including the Washington Post — because the perpetrator was a well-known activist working to prevent sexual violence. Before his arrest, Joel Davis was the founding executive director of the international organization Youth to End Sexual Violence and a member of the International Campaign to Stop Rape & Gender Violence in Conflict, an international group of human rights experts.
