I got the vibe that she was talking about the authoritarian nature of the Obama administration, too. The stupid thing about the ape though I tried to bring up that aspect and got shut down by my own family. People are way too obsessed with race.

dreamdigital

Very much agree. People are so triggered when you say anything about culture or heritage. It's a stupid pride thing. People are way too prideful in something they didn't even have a choice in doing. You can be proud of something you accomplished. Proud of your heritage was something you had no say in.

duchessofdarkness

I would disagree with that last part. Heritage is huge in politics as it is here on voat and I know why. You cant accomplish everything in one lifetime. What you chose to do about that fact is up to you. Some people start cults, some start families and some chose activism to proliferate their ideas. I meant to say that word ape doesn't have anything to do with her heritage. It all gets conflated into nonsense arguments as soon as anything with a primate gets mentioned. It's something like mass hysteria imo.

Pipebomb

That planet of the apes speech is epic...

WalnutSauceGoat

I always have red flags go up when some annoying, ill-informed foreigner tries to explain to Roseanne that she didn’t mean what she meant. Eff off.

VJ definitely looks like one of the Apes.

Deal with it.

WalnutSauceGoat

No idea why this narrator, who incidentally has a god awful annoying accent (I can’t place which state he hails from), has to manipulate the facts like this. Fake news. She DEFINITELY looks like one of the apes. Roseanne was spot on. This guy is not. (I agree with everything else he says.)

Vindicator

@dreamdigital , can you briefly quote the video where it explains how Roseanne referenced Pizzagate? Thanks.

dreamdigital

Yes. And it wasn't Roseanne, it was VJ.

V____Z

Just adding one point to this story: VJ looks exactly like one of the Planet of the Apes, it's just a fact, and hilarious at that. Secondly, comparing African Americans to apes is definitely a trigger, BUT VJ IS NOT BLACK. She's Iranian. And the characters in the Planet of the Apes are not apes, but cross breeds. So Rosanne lost her show for comparing a black lady to an ape, yet that is not at all what happened.

Shizy

But the liberals say we ALL came from apes, so why is it racist to compare VJ to an ape??

Jarrett was born in Shiraz, Iran to American parents James E. Bowman and Barbara T. Bowman

Her parents are both of European and African-American descent. On the television series Finding Your Roots, DNA testing indicated that Jarrett is of 49% European, 46% African, and 5% Native American descent. Among her European roots, she was found to have French and Scottish ancestry.[5] One of her maternal great-grandfathers, Robert Robinson Taylor, was the first accredited African-American architect, and the first African-American student enrolled at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology

as for monkeys, those with Rh positive blood ...The new analysis of the rhesus monkey genome, conducted by an international consortium of more than 170 scientists, also reveals that humans and the macaques share about 93 percent of their DNA.

those with negative blood do not have the comparison

V____Z

Wow, thank you for that. I trusted the wrong source and lazily did not fact check...

new4now

Look into negative blood because most of our presidents have it and illuminati all have it

took it a little further in researching lol

glad I could help

shhhhh, I have seen white people that look like apes and monkeys lol
