I was surprised to see this not posted yet. It’s terrible. Pizzagate related due to societal normalization of pedophilia.

Thanks for reminding to STAY ON THE BALL. My kid was gonna try Roblox... not gonna happen. We have seen a few advertisements pop up for the free games, too. All around, I’m thinking that internet gaming apps are a bad idea.

As others are stating, there's no pictures showing what this women is screeching about. One user posted a completely different incident, but the article also explains Roblox dealt with the situation. This isn't a fault of the game since they have measures in place to protect children that the parents can use, and they seem to take care of situations outside of that as well.

You have to follow the link to her Facebook page to see the screen shots. They aren't quite as obvious as the article I posted. And yes, they seem to be quite vigilant with taking down inappropriate content, but it is certainly wise for parents to be aware of what their kids are playing.

You need to understand that all the content created for this game comes from its users. It only takes one jerk to make this and spam it for all these kids to see, not a mastermind pushing an agenda like people here like to think.

I literally cannot find any evidence that this isn't a hoax. None of the articles have the pictures, they all point to a facebook post which doesn't actually contain pictures. Anyone want to show me that this is something more than the old halo days of crouching over a corpse?

The most recent though was a Gang rape of a 7 year old avatar and her parents say they had security settings in place.

The mom in the article did affirm when she spoke with someone who runs the site, they do everything they can to remove inappropriate content. Obviously they are most effective when content is reported. There is some all around sketchy shit on there. I myself have reported a game my kid was playing. It was gone within a matter of hours so it seems the folks running it are committed to keeping it how it was intended.

Skyrim isn't a children's game.

Not excusing a raping children mod, just that skyrim isn't marketed for children. I'm not sure how the sex mod works in roblox, but I'm pretty sure how to mod skyrim, and its more adult geared content requires some work to obtain.

Thankfully we've never experienced any overtly sexual stuff on there but I've had to report some pretty violent shit that slipped through the cracks. I think it's a place that could stay kid-friendly if parents would stay on top of it, but many parents won't.

We actually have kept our Netflix until the most recent controversy of Desire where they are literally distributing child porn. My husband was outraged when I told him and cancelled immediately. I’m also going to write a letter to expand on our reason for cancelling. I’ll share it here.
