Yeah, the media has been quick to use one of their favorite mockingbird media words, "debunked" to describe the case. WaPo seemed to have an article already written and ready to go as soon as the plea deal was announced. I made a post about how fishy it is- https://voat.co/v/politics/2618371
It's so unjust I want to believe the theories that there's more to the deal than meets the eye, but I'm always skeptical.
This post links to an article pointing out that the plea deal isn't binding with any other attorney's office or prosecutor... Maybe there is something to the theories. It would be a first, though.

Does this mean that a RICO case may still be filed against him or them? Please let it be so.
