It's called Traffik and It came out this year. It mentions everything we have been exposing. The movie has an adult protagonist that gets trafficked but shows and mentons kids. Look up the Joaquin Phoenix movie “You Were Never Really Here”. Seek out the trailer if you haven’t seen it yet.

It’s a meditative, slow-paced drama about an ex-soldier and FBI agent who has PTSD from an abusive childhood, the horrors of war, and finally—the thing that makes him snap, apparently—dealing with human trafficking with the FBI.

At the start, he’s a broken man, haunted by images of unimaginable cruelty and death. He also takes work rescuing victims of trafficking.

The main plot involves a senator whose daughter was kidnapped. He hires him to rescue her, and we see horrifying glimpses into that world. They did a thing where there’s a detail that might go unnoticed by anybody except someone who knows what to look for—these details aren’t talked about, nobody ever mentions why these things are happening, but if you know about programming, it’s obvious they’re saying something without saying something.

In one scene, we see the girl on a bed, counting down (or up? I forget) as she disassociates so she can get through the session. When she’s rescued, her face is blank—expressionless—until she’s done counting and “comes back” from her safe place. It’s fucking heartbreaking.

In another scene, we hear a song being played in the background as she’s about to be raped again. Same song that was playing when we see her earlier. It’s not in the soundtrack—it’s part of the scene. It’s clearly a triggering song.

Possibly the most curious detail—in a dream sequence, we see the girl sinking down into a body of water. In one shot, we see a lock of her hair tumbling in the water, and as it moves, it momentarily—but very obviously—forms the shape of a “Q”. Not sure what it means, but I have my theories. More on that paragraph after the next.

I’ll stop the analysis there—it’s a bit of a test of patience at points, but ultimately it’s a compelling piece of work.

Now my theory—before he was Joaquin Phoenix, he was child heartthrob Leaf Phoenix. Brother of —that’s right—dead child actor River Phoenix. And if you remember when it happened, you remember he died at the new-new Viper Room in LA. Hey—real quick. Who owns the Viper Room? Is it one of those pesky “loudest voices”?

As for Leaf Phoenix, Joaquin's Wikipedia page credits him as using the name Leaf when he was a child actor and then reverting back to his real name later on. And Depp owned the viper room. He's another wack job who needs more scrutiny!

I forgot to mention that one of the handlers in the movie is prominently wearing what looks like a Masonic ring. I’ll see if I can find a clear frame I can take a screenshot of.
