Law & Order director Jason "Jace" Alexander was sentenced to 10 years' probation on child pornography charges in a New York courtroom on Tuesday, June 28

The 52-year-old must register as a sex offender in New York, according to the Associated Press.

As Us Weekly previously reported, Alexander had faced up to seven years in prison after pleading guilty in January to promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene performance by a child.

Digital files showing children under 16 engaging in sex acts were found on computers at Alexander's Dobbs Ferry, New York, home last year, according to prosecutors.

The married father of three directed shows including Rescue Me, The Mysteries of Laura, Raising Hope, Burn Notice and Lizzie McGuire, as well as 32 episodes of Law & Order.

Alexander was a co-executive producer on NBC's The Blacklist for 16 episodes between 2013 and 2014. He resigned his position as second vice president of the Directors Guild of America after his arrest in July 2015.

Exactly! And these pedos are more often than not revolting looking- fat, sloppy, look like they would smell bad. Disgusting, yet they Are so narcissistic and mentally ill they actually think their victims are attracted to them. NO ONE wants them, especially not a child! I am shocked to know how many people are unaware of pedo stares. People eyeing children. I have seen it, at outings and parks, and parents are oblivious to their children wandering away from them and not keeping them near. I don't mean you have to have them sitting on your lap all the time but next to you. It's amazing. I want to just Shake Them. But I am not the policeman of the world.

I believe they are around us more than most of us realize! I was recently at a beach with my kids and there was this guy there all by himself with an expensive looking camera. He was walking around taking pictures. I have seen these types before at the beach. Most are likely just taking scenic shots of the ocean, but sometimes there are ones that give you a vibe. This was one that I kept my eye on. I wanted to make sure he wasn't discretely taking pics of kids playing near the water. It wasn't that crowded that day and the dude noticed me watching him as he was in the vicinity of my kids. He quickly moved away and left the area. He could have been an innocent photographer, but I'm not taking chances with my kids. A stare down never hurt anyone so, whatever 🤷🏼‍♀️

You are wise to be leery. I have encountered them too. I sometimes go with my friend when her grand kids are visiting. We have gone to farms, parks and the girls are getting pretty and tweens. I have noticed them getting long stares and someone even sitting near them. I quickly told my friend and she said, I have to be more aware, and remember what you have told me. She is starting to believe that there are more of these pedos out there than she thought. I hope I am getting a convert.

The problem I find is not so much with the Grandmothers, but their children. They think all this stuff is Balderdash! I have come up against the younger ones before, those are the ones we need to work on, the parents. But I am glad I have had success. I will keep up with the older set.
