I definitely don't think all those parents are pedophiles, just terribly naive and "it can't happen to MY child". Parents of children in public school think it is normal for little Billy or Suzy to have a cellphone at school. One friend of mine stated, "safety" reasons. The thing is, that kid doesn't give a crap about safety, they want that phone because their friends do, and to play games and text. If the child must have a phone, they should have a basic phone with very limited capabilities and mom or dad should be reviewing activity WEEKLY. Period. No exceptions. Parents need to be parents and do some actual parenting. 😐

Many parents nowadays are so lax in parenting, I agree. Actually my friend's niece has to give her phone to the teacher. They put it in a big box and get it back for lunch and when they go home. I think this is a great idea. That way this have it on the way to school and home. And I also agree that, The less they have access the better.
