CPS and DCF and others are the cause of most of the children being sold off or trafficked. Shameful for so many in this country to ignore it or to hope it just goes away. Hes, very sad.

Thus my comment. There must be a safeguard. I can't imagine the pain of someone stealing my kid at gunpoint. Find a stranger who has a few nickles to rub together and form an agreement on paper with the immediate fam. Do whatever it takes. Your kid is already gone out of the house at that point. What do you have to lose?

I hope not. Although how are you to know? In our extended family no one uses babysitters. There are older aunts and grandmas that are willing to help out. They are banking on split families now, many moving away. It all comes into play.......

I agree, but what about the family members that abuse ? It’s so hard to just get away from this stuff.

Well, WE have been extremely lucky in our family in that way, but I do understand the problem. I still think family is better than an outsider. Especially now that some are calling babysitter services, and trusting parents from the kid's school or whatever. We know background checks are lax. People really need to keep their eyes open about family and quite giving them a pass.

The solution for this mess is that exactly. Calling people out publicly or privately and not letting it go from there.

Yes! People don’t want to believe one of their own would do such things. It’s better to stop it before it happens. Afterwards there is more pai sadness and shame.
