Any shortage can be mitigated using free market forces. If you want more whistleblowers, you have to create an economic incentive to blow the whistle. I never said we could 100% eliminate the risk of being a whistleblower. But we can nudge the risk in the right direction, and we can make it profitable to make the world a better place. Your objection amounts to "your solution is not 100% perfect." That's not a reasonable objection.

False Claims Act/Qui tam lawsuits provide good financial incentives for federal whistle blowers, but you hetter be 100% sure you a) have overwhelming proof to prevail, b) can support yourself for years while your case is litigated, c) have top notch and uncorruptible counsel because the government lawyers will grind you up and have virtually limitiess funding, and d) say your prayers that it will all be worth the losses to life and living I mentioned in earlier reply. I am not saying an imperfect idea is useless, just questioning how helpful it can possibly be. I have experience with government whistle blowers. Not a path any reasonable person will undertake in most cases.

I'm not sure how valuable my opinion is, as I can't know everything, and there is so much to know. My impression based on what I have seen so far is that Mueller has always worked for the Deep State/Illuminati/Shadow Government, which supersedes the right-left, Republican-Democrat paradigm. My mind is still open to new information, though. It would be nice if he was secretly working for Trump, but I just don't see any hard evidence that this is true.

I agree that he seems to supersede the right-left, Republican-Democrat paradigm. With that being said, I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility for him to be working for Trump. If you were Trump and needed a fixer/had something to hide, where would you place your fixer? Head of the investigation against you seems like a good place to me. Mueller has proven himself more than capable of hiding intel when necessary. I don't necessarily think that Mueller working for Trump would be nice in that case, as he would be hiding things for him. Trump isn't exactly scandal-free; it's not far-fetched to think he could have something to hide.

I won't say that what you've described is not happening, because I have no way of knowing, but I'm leaning more towards Mueller actually spearheading the Deep State attempt to bring Trump down and make him spend the rest of his life behind bars. It has entered my mind that Trump could be using blackmail to stay alive and to control people here and there - maybe this could be the case with Mueller. Hopefully the truth will be revealed in time.
