I used to be pro-abortion but these late term abortions and the selling of body parts to creat Frankenstein creatures is beyond the pale and has caused me to have a 180 degree turn around.

I was in law school when Rose v Wade was decided. It was deemed a major victory for women during the height of the 2nd wave feminist movement, control over a woman's own reproduction, etc. Legalistic musings were pretty much limited to where would the line be moved in the future as technology would push the definition of viable fetus back further and further to time of conception. In other words we anticipated that abortions would have to restricted to earlier and earlier time frames. No one , at least no one I knew, contemplated that the line would move in the opposite direction right up to time of birth. Indeed, arguments are now being made that post birth "abortions" should be permitted since there is no distinction between a pre-birth fetus and a post birth human.

Abortion is a touchy topic and I once criticized a post for being about abortion and not sexual abuse of children. I still feel that way about our forum but I now see the lines are becoming blurry. No one, and again, I mean no one thought that a fetus would become a commodity whose dismembered parts would be sold to the highest bidder. We couldnt imagine such depravity.

Well if a newborn is just a post -birth fetus that can be killed and butchered and sold, then why have laws about sexual abuse. Don't I then have the right to sexual gratification with my child and the right to loan or sell that child out to others for profit? What was Crowley's motto: Do what thou will?

As if abortion wasn't already horrific enough... one day the public will know where those children went... and they will be disgusted. Here's more info on that (this doesn't even begin to get into the vaccines and the FDA purchasing aborted baby body parts to engineer humanized mice).
