Father H.H.M. Jansen is denounced for sexual abuse during his activities as military pastor and as a faculty member of the seminary of Rolduc.[118]

[2. wiki: Roman Catholic Diocese of Roermond ]:

(Redirected from Apostolic Vicariate of Limburg)

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Roermond is a Latin diocese of the Catholic Church in the Netherlands. The diocese is one of the seven Roman-Catholic suffragan dioceses in the ecclesiastical province of the Metropolitan Archbishop of Utrecht. The territory of the diocese covers the Province of Limburg.

[3. google translate: nl.wiki: Murder of Nicky Verstappen | https://archive.is/EDUxZ ]:

The murder of Nicky Verstappen refers to the event of 10 August 1998 when an eleven-year-old Dutch boy was found murdered at Brunssum.

Disappearance

Nicky Verstappen ( March 13, 1987 ) from the Limburg village Heibloem disappeared on August 10, 1998 when he was at camp with a group of villagers. The camp was organized by local youth and took place at De Heikop, a recreation resort on the Brunssummerheide.

On the night before his disappearance, the activities ended at 22.00, after which the children went to their tents. In the tent where Nicky slept, he was seen by a tent companion the next morning at around 5.00 am. Three hours later he appeared to have disappeared from the camp site.

The managers first went looking, but when they could not find Nicky, they turned to the police. He did not take any action at first. The managers distributed posters in the area and in the evening people from Heibloem came to help with the search. However, results did not materialize. The next day a large-scale search was started with the help of the police, the Marechaussee, soldiers, an airplane and a tracking dog. Around 9 pm Nicky's body was found near a Christmas trees plot, about 1200 meters from the camp site.

Breakthrough

On Wednesday, August 22, 2018, just over 20 years after the murder, a live broadcast press conference was broadcast at the police station in Maastricht , announcing that a 'big breakthrough' was made during the murder. The Public Prosecutor announced on that day that there is a DNA match with a 55-year-old man, Jos B., who lived in Simpelveld at the time of the murder. It is currently unknown where B. is staying since he left for hiking in the Vosges in February 2018. A European arrest warrant has been issued against the defendant and he is placed on the national search list.[7]

Where was the summer camp located? Brunssummerheide [3]

Where did the current suspect, Joseph Brech, live during the time of the murder? Simpelveld [3]

Bringing up both locations on google maps: We can see that between the 2 locations mentioned above, sits the Roman Catholic Church, Saint-Pancratius.

Does this prove that the Catholic Church is directly connected to the murder of Nicky Verstappen? No, but, there is a history of Catholic Church-related child abuse in Limburg

In the above, I have included another destination, Limburg, Germany , which is only approximately a 2.5 hour drive away.

Pedophile Priests in Germany: 'Zero-Tolerance' Bishop Accused of Leniency

By Anna Loll

Two years ago, Germany's Catholic Church was rocked by reports of widespread child abuse. But Stephan Ackermann, the bishop subsequently made the German Bishops' Conference's spokesman on such issues, has rattled many in his own diocese by refusing to actively pursue investigations or impose harsh penalties.~

Incidentally, there's also this in relation directly to Limburg, Germany:

Living in the Lap of Luxury: Bishop's Extravagant Behavior Triggers Uproar

By Martin U. Müller and Peter Wensierski

He extols the virtues of poverty and humility, but the German bishop of Limburg enjoys first-class flights and a luxurious new living complex. As the truth comes out about their secretive shepherd, local Catholics are threatening to abandon the fold en masse.~

The Catholic Church in Germany also has issues with child abuse and the cover up thereof.[3][4]

There is also a Limburg in Belgium , which is also directly implicated in Catholic Church-related abuse of minors and the cover up thereof.

On 27 November 2009, parish priest Bart Aben of Overpelt parish in Limburg was arrested by the police on accusations of rape and sexual abuse of two children, one male and one female, in his previous parish, Bocholtz over a long period of time, from 1991 until 2008. He confessed his abuse to his bishop, Mgr. Patrick Hoogmartens and the police.[5][21]

Again, none of this proves Catholic Church involvement with the murder in question, but, it does present as curious and possibly connected.

Also on the subject of Netherlands pedophilia:

[7. wiki: Vereniging Martijn | https://archive.is/Dp59C ]:

Vereniging MARTIJN ("MARTIJN Union") was a Dutch association that advocated the societal acceptance of pedophilia and legalization of sexual relationships between adults and children.[1]

logo

Formation: 1982 (dissolved by Supreme Court in 2014)

Purpose: To advocate the acceptance of pedophilia and legalization of sexual relationships between adults and children

Region served: Netherlands

Official language: Dutch

Leader: Ad van den Berg

Photographs of Princess Amalia

The organization was in the news in October 2007 when it was learned that photographs of Princess Catharina-Amalia (then aged 3½), daughter of Willem-Alexander, Prince of Orange (now King) and his wife Princess Maxima (now Queen), were on display on the website's forum. The Prince went to court to request a €50,000 fine and the removal of the photos from the website.[6] The court agreed that the photos must be removed, and imposed a fine of €5,000 to be paid every time photos of children of the royal family are placed on the site again. The organisation had to pay €1,235 in costs.[7][8][9]

Police investigations

The home of the organization's president, Ad van den Berg, was raided by police in October 2010; downloads of illegal material had been traced back to Van den Berg's internet connection. It was announced in March 2011 that large quantities of child pornography were found among the confiscated material, and even more material, including computers, was confiscated when Van den Berg was arrested on 29 March.[10]

Suspects in the Amsterdam sex case, an investigation into the abuse of tens of children in Amsterdam kindergartens, were members of MARTIJN.[11]

Catholic Church involvement

On 20 May 2011 Herman Spronck, the head of the Dutch arm of the Salesian Catholic order, confirmed to RTL Nieuws that a priest under him had been on the board of MARTIJN until the Van den Berg raids. He added, "Of course we reject this and distance ourselves from this personal initiative." RTL obtained interviews both with Spronck and the priest (73-year-old "Father Van B.") in which the two defended adult-child sex as not always damaging.[12] The priest concerned had prior convictions for child sexual abuse.[13]

Out of room for this comment; be sure to read the section titled "Disbandment", as it shows attempts by Dutch courts to allow the group to remain active.

Addendum:

If we add Limburg, Belgium, as a destination(positioned at the start) in the google maps journey:

google maps link

We can see that in total, there's only approximately 3 hours of driving from start to finish.

Not that this necessarily proves much either, but, for the sake of knowing.

Metanoiac

Peter De Vries, isn't that Baron Harkonen's Mentat?

Micheal84

That would be Piter.

Metanoiac

Ha ha... maybe an ancestor. I'm sure he gets it a lot.

think-

Hi @ Micheal84, thanks for posting. I would like to ask you however, to point out how this case is relevant for our investigation of elite pedophilia and elite child trafficking.

I will give you a 24 hours Grace flair. Thank you!

Please keep up the good work.

Micheal84

I expected this reply ;)

I just leave it out here, then delete if you want.

think-

Ok. ;-) Ahem, but don't make it a habit!! ;-) LOL.

Micheal84

I won't. Lol

think-

Hi @Michael84 , after I read in the Daily Mail about the case yesterday, and the article said that he was a boy scout leader , I asked @Vindicator to please remove the flair during his shift. Wasn't able to do it myself, since Voat had issues for a couple of hours yesterday. Sorry, that he was 'active in at a scouting club' should have rung a bell. Cheers, think- (No, I won't make it a habit.... :-P).

Micheal84

Thanks for the reply, keep up the good work!

think-

Thank you, @Michael84 , you too! ;-) :-)
