Chicago Democrats with close ties to Barack Obama have been implicated in a massive cover-up of sexual abuse and human trafficking (1) targeting black children in poor neighborhoods. The allegations have emerged from a series of lawsuits brought by abuse victims and their families.

The crimes span a period of at least 40 years, and involve torture, kidnapping, gang rape and sexual enslavement of hundreds of African-American children.

Through the years, victims coming forward to report these crimes have faced harassment and threats from private investigators (2) and city police. (3)

These abuses unfolded during the long reign of the “Daley Machine” – a period when two Richard Daleys, father and son, ruled over the Windy City, with near-dictatorial powers. Each held the reins for more than 20 years (Richard the Elder from 1955 to 1976 and Richard the Younger from 1989 to 2011).

We now know that the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program — established by Richard the Elder in 1969 — long served as a federally-funded playground for child molestors. Pedophiles working in the program preyed on black children from poor neighborhoods, often placing them on government payrolls as “phantom” or “ghost” employees, with no other duties than to satisfy their tormentors’ sexual appetites.

The widening scandal threatens to become an embarrassment for President Barack Obama, whose political career largely grew from Daley’s patronage, and whose White House is filled with Daley operatives, including William Daley, brother of the former mayor, whom Obama has appointed chief of staff.

Chicago has always been a city run by organized crime groups with the Mayor as the head of the city mafia it never changes. You can go back to the 1920's with Al Capone and the other mobsters and gangsters.

Yes, indeed! The Doctor of Common Sense did a tongue-in-cheek video about it, but with a lot of underlying truth. Since YT shut him down, I'm not sure if the video can be found anymore, but it included a clip where Bo snapped at Michelle and she said something like, "That's it. You're done."

Thank you so much for archiving that. It is so very valuable. Sherman Skolnick I believe was one of the last True Journalists. He died in 2006. The day Journalism died, imo. I simply found it by typing in rahm emanuel and organ harvesting while researching. Boom, was I shocked. I had not read or thought of Skolnick for ages. <3

He was the type of journalism that is sorely missing today. People should read him just to experience that. There is a lot of truth in his reports. I had forgotten about him and when I typed in emanuel's name and organ harvesting BOOM his report showed up. I was so glad to see his name because I remembered how revered he was decades ago. I miss him and have started reading other reports as well.

The reports of people getting out of Homan square come from people whose family or lawyers have inquired there, putting pressure on to get them out. In other words, people outside knew the people were being held there, or were at least somewhere in "police" custody. I wonder what happens to people who no one inquires about them. It would be interesting to know just how many people disappear each year in Chicago.
