Very important topic. This is horrible. Reminds me of immigrant detention camps and guantanumo bay, in terms of the egregious humanitarian violations.

I already did this post

My brother is CPD and this article is really making Homan look much more sinister than it is. The "off the books" stuff is due to its computer system. They apparently have a separate system from the other stations, so you cant easily search people in the system and find them at Homan. Sometimes, they have to take someone from Homan to another station to enter them into the system. People can end up waiting at this station overnight. They do the undercover work here as well. There is a gym, stolen property lockup, evidence and tactical planning ops set up. I think there may be some special vehicles kept here as well...cant remember his entire explanation. "Disappeared" makes you think they are murdering and burying bodies. Its the system, thats all. Also, OSHA should come and check out some of the stuff dripping from the ceilings in several upper story rooms, according to my brother. This crap about the beatings is silly. My brother has worked lock up at other facilities. Put some crazies in a cell and see what they do to themselves. Throwing feces around and pissing all over, is common. They will bash their own brains in, against a wall. They have cameras to monitor some of the insanity that goes on with people who are locked up.

Many of these articles bashing CPD also mention Loevy and Loevy, which are the top attorneys for filing lawsuits against the police. They do their thing, and they do it well.

Homan is not a great place to get all wound up about. Its an old building in a dangerous area, thats all. That area is mostly black. Im shocked, shocked I say, that they lock black people up here <rolls eyes>.

Trust me, Im no Rahm fan. Im just trying to give you all a better perspective.

@Oh_Well_ian , have you got anything linking this to child sex abuse by the elite? Please add in the next 24 hours, otherwise, we've gotta take this down.

Vindicator

Removing per Rule 1.

So, I read where an investment group purchased it (or, a portion) to develop the property back in 2004. However, nothing was ever done to the property & just +/- weeks ago, it's now been sold to Arka Express-related entities? (I know nothing about Arka, if anyone else could add?) It's laughable to even imagine some vigilante arm of Chi-town trying to circumvent the rampant liberalism, all in the name of justice. If that were true, wouldn't we hear fake news peddling reports of big drops in crime??!? Many thing are, indeed, rotten in Denmark here!

While not exactly what you're Op is about, this is interesting:

Nichols Tower at Homan Square (original Sears Tower)

Options for Youth supports vulnerable adolescents in the Chicago area and helps them create positive options for their futures.

UCAN will operate three youth programs in the Tower: an anti-violence program called the Peace Hub; and two youth empowerment and mentoring programs, one for boys (Project Visible Man) and one for girls (Phenomenal Woman). All UCAN program promote healing, provide education, and help to prevent violence. Their presence in the Tower will enhance youth-serving programs across the Homan Square campus.

Ahh, of course there are tunnels...

It's Rahm Emanuel

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/oct/19/homan-square-chicago-police-disappeared-thousands

Police “disappeared” more than 7,000 people at an off-the-books interrogation warehouse in Chicago, nearly twice as many detentions as previously disclosed, the Guardian can now reveal.

From August 2004 to June 2015, nearly 6,000 of those held at the facility were black, which represents more than twice the proportion of the city’s population. But only 68 of those held were allowed access to attorneys or a public notice of their whereabouts, internal police records show.

The police portrayals contrast sharply with those of Homan Square detainees and their lawyers, who insist that “if this could happen to someone, it could happen to anyone”. A 30-year-old man named Jose, for example, was one of the few detainees with an attorney present when he surrendered to police. He said officers at the warehouse questioned him even after his lawyer specifically told them he would not speak.

“The Fillmore and Homan boys,” Jose said, referring to police and the facility’s cross streets, “don’t play by the rules.”

Yeah Right. they play by Rahm's Rules.

Here is Rahm on his Rules

https://www.chicagoreporter.com/mayor-sticks-to-script-on-reports-about-west-side-police-facility/

Mayor Rahm Emanuel echoed Chicago Police Department talking points when he was asked on Chicago Tonight about The Guardian’s report that suspects were “disappeared” at a West Side detention facility.

“That’s not true,” Emanuel said of the report. “We follow all the rules. … Everything’s done by the books.”

Chicago police are operating a CIA-style black site where suspects are 'disappeared,' denied lawyers and shackled for up to 17 hours, activists say

Its like the new slavery

carmencita

They are kept dirt poor for a reason. They are locked into their hoods and can’t escape. They are at their mercy. That whole area should be named Organ Hood. Shootings Deaths by Fire and Knifings. Accidents. How do we know the truth of what shape they are really in. Ambulances EMTS. They are all involved. The ME too. We have discussed in posts how everything is pulled together for a perfect result. The old days are gone. They know how to preserve them now.

3141592653

Horrifying

carmencita

I have a friend that used to be a nurse. She has been retired for a while now. She totally disbelieves the organ harvesting because she says they can't preserve them. I try to explain that they have perfected the process. I think it is just too horrid for her to admit after spending her whole life saving people and doing good. I can understand why she can't go there. It's ugly.

44NJ9

Statistically it has found that 50% of African American babies are aborted each year. 70% of African American babies born out of wedlock will end up in prison during their lifetime.

These statistic really make you think...

new4now

they gauge prison's future population by the kids in Juvie Prison

Juvie is as bad as the adults when it comes to abuse and corruption

most kids in Juvie are State owned

makes you wonder

3141592653

Privatisation of prisons= they want to fill as many prison beds as possible--its a business. Add in systemic oppresion of minorities and we've got the new slavery system, complete with forced labor

new4now

not to mention the 3 strikes law

Clintons wrapped that one up

3141592653

Yes yes

carmencita

From the Cradle to the Jail. That's what the govt. wants. They take their organs in prison, their fetuses during abortion and then many have their organs stolen. They are thought of as disposables.

Oh_Well_ian

THINK about what?

come on, smart guy... enlighten VOAT with your genius...

bopper

"Domestic Black Site." As in CIA black site. This is spooky crap!

3141592653

I wonder if they're experimenting on the prisoners... Its horrible

carmencita

Yes. And using their organs. They do this in prisons. We should look into all the missing prisoners in the jails. Notice all those missing from Holman Sq. Shocking. But adding all those jails Well mind boggling.

3141592653

Completely agree

carmencita

It's a dirty shame this post was deleted. They don't want this story told.

Blacksmith21

No, CIA running their Chicago operation.

carmencita

You are so right. They and Emanuel are running it. Everyone else follows orders.
