CHICAGO — R&B singer R Kelly has been charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Cook County Friday morning, sources tell WGN.

Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse is a class 2 felony, punishable by 3-7 years but also can be probationable.

Shortly after news of Kelly’s charges came in, attorney Michael Avenatti tweeted Friday afternoon, “it’s over.”

After 25 years of serial sexual abuse and assault of underage girls, the day of reckoning for R Kelly has arrived.

CHICAGO — Attorney Michael Avenatti is announcing new evidence that he says confirms sexual abuse allegations against singer R. Kelly.

Avenatti says his client has a VHS tape that shows Kelly having sex with an underage girl. CNN reports that it has seen the video, and that the girl refers to her body parts as being 14 years old.

In response to press inquiries, attached is a stmt regarding our work on the R. Kelly matter since April, including the discovery of new critical video evidence establishing his guilt. Avenatti says that video is about 45 minutes long and is now in the hands of Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx.

Yeah, I agree he is creepy. Also all of a sudden after all that has been written they are jumping on him. Also here comes Alred with her Victims. Now mind you I do believe the Victims were horribly abused by him. We know he is a perverted sicko. BUT, I believe they are scared all of us are getting too close to unwrapping the real truth here. The moguls that are also involved. So it's better to cut to the chase and sacrifice R. Kelly just like they did Weinstein.

He's sitting in jail last I heard with 1M dollar bail. That means he has to come up with 100K to get out. His finances are a mess his lawyer says. Someone that made that much money and he can't scrape up that much. He is where he belongs. As long as he is off the streets Girls and Women are Safe. Thank God.

With US Just Us system, those who can make money for the entertainment and music industries stay out on bail forever it seems and then get very short sentences...i.e. Bill Cosby..Jeffrey Epstein........as opposed to a homeless person stealing a loaf of bread, under bill clinton's 3 strikes and you are out.....life sentence.
