The Trump administration is strengthening the so-called "Mexico City policy" that bars U.S. aid to groups that provide or promote abortion overseas.

It’s also warning that it will more strictly enforce a federal statute aimed at preventing abortions abroad.

We will refuse to provide assistance to foreign NGOs that give financial support to other foreign groups in the global abortion industry,” Pompeo said.

He said the "vast majority" of groups that partner with the U.S. have agreed to comply with the policy so far, and cast the latest decision as being rooted in compassion. "We're talking about human lives," he said.

Anti-abortion advocates immediately hailed Pompeo's announcement, the latest in a series of State Department efforts to curb abortion.

Good but... I was thinking that even when abortion is banned, one way or another, pedos in higher rankings could get the children anytime and any way they want since they have the power to do so

there was a time in the past, where you couldnt get abortions in a lot of states

abortions were done illegally and many women died or had non reversible damage

it was said some were done with coat hangers

women seriously need to take proactive steps

Well Well. Was going to look into Drew Altman Pres. & CEO of the Kaiser Family Found. But really why bother when you read that he is a member of the Council of Foreign Relations. Really. They are still reviewing this ban at the moment. Can't wait to hear their answer. He was also at MIT. Hmm. MIT is where Aaron Schwartz was also.

I have always been fairly neutral on the issue until I found out all the sick crap they were doing besides regular abortions. No taxpayer should fund abortion unless by the State in a rape case or otherwise drug related weirdness. 1981 Siljander amendment, which requires that no U.S. funds appropriated under the Foreign Operations Appropriations Act may be used to "lobby for or against abortion." This is a great political move and cuts funding for the bad guys in my opinion. Law was already on the books and not enforced, like so many others.
