I was watching one of my favorite shows tonight when I caught this weird line. It kind of bothered me. The character Doc says this line.
"It looks like a nice place to get murder porn"

I've never heard that in any piece of media and it kind of turned my stomach. Yes it's a zombie show but that line was way out of place. Am I overreaching this one or do you guys find the line creepy as well?

I don't know as much as I love Doc that comment seemed out of place to me. I don't feel like Doc would say that. At the very least it just seemed out of place.

It's creepy, but that's how he's describing whatever room/basement/cellar they're walking into - sarcastically. I mean, besides the cliché of saying, "Ooooh, this place gives me the creeps," the writer(s) came up with that line. It's still disturbing.

Yeah but what a weird way of describing that. Like that just sounded off and was disturbing. Just to throw in a snuff comment like that.

Yeah, I don't watch the show. If the fans say it's out of place for the character, Doc, to say something like, then it definitely adds an element of an oddity. I mean. . . I've looked at certain people and thought, "He could be a pedophile." I mean the person was giving a super creepy vibe. Isn't that just what he was saying? I mean, the room was so creepy it looked like it could be a place where a snuff film would be filmed. That seems like a reasonable comment to make to capture how uncomfortable he felt going down the stairs.
