On mobile & no idea how to link but there are reports that Acosta was ordered to stand down because Epstein belonged to intelligence & this was above Acosta’s pay grade. He had one meeting about the case & was told to accept the plea. If that’s true then he’s likely been appointed to a cabinet position specifically because ppl will criticize & question him on this so that the truth can come out, ie who ordered the plea, called off the prosecution, etc. There’s a lot more to this story than you think.

We have the reason for Acosta’s actions.

Possibly ORDERED to back off.

Culprit: ROBERT MUELLER.

Sweet7Tea

I agree. This as to be the reason trump still wants him...he will be able to testify to this when needed

progressbin

Im_Brian is a DNC shill. Acosta was told to back off (by Mueller?) because Epstein was allegedly working with intelligence agencies.

kazza64

this isnt going to end well for trump you know he needs to come clean or get annihilated on this topic at the 2020 election

Pizzagatevoater

Barr will not recuse himself Title Here Is this so he can keep an eye on the SDNY dudes? With Comey's daughter being the prosecutor I think Barr will be checking what moves are made on the case.

NotaQjackass

Trump should throw him off a cliff nobody would care.

think-

Incidentally, cough cough , Acosta used to work for the very same law firm that represented Epstein, and that negotiated the lenient plea deal for Epstein.

Meaning, his former employer directly profited from Acosta being 'lenient'. Go figure.

AG Barr also worked for this law firm at some point, and therefore had to recuse himself from the Epstein case today.

Indicentally, cough cough , his father Donald Barr was headmaster of an elite school in the 1970s, and hired Epstein as a teacher. Donald Barr worked for the CIA predecessor OSS (confirmed), Epstein is likely a Mossad asset, or also CIA. (The father of Epstein's ex-girlfriend and accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, was a top Mossad spy.)

Btw, this was the same school - Dalton - that Anderson Cooper, Gloria Vanderbilt's son, attended. Cooper doesn't even hide that he once 'interned' at the CIA.

Totally agree. Researched these scum myself and yes, Mossad, Up til recently, Mossad was top dog, all other spygame fu$kers answer to them, certainly not the country they supposedly represent. My theory

Vindicator

That is quite a set of connections. Interesting!

think-

Yep!

Going to do a post about it tomorrow.

Onetime1

Stories going around, cannot prove or disprove yet, are that Acosta was threatened (himself or family) to sign off on Epstein deal. (See Beraton Whisenant for how this can play out).

Trump appointed him a Cabinet position so that he was given Secret Service protection. In addition, Acosta has provided testimony corroborating these threats which - obviously - expands the Epstein case much wider/deeper. This is why the Public Corruption Unit is spearheading this investigation.

Q045

Acosta clearly was not the only factor in this. We all know Epstein gave information to FBI "as agreed upon". What were the politics at play when this deal was shaped?

Vindicator

Interesting explanation.

LokkenLoaded

This seems to be the most logical explanation. What was Acosta going to do against Epstein back then? The entire system/process was rigged and anyone who would act out of turn would be dealt with.

Trump Was 'Only One' To Help Prosecutor In 2009 Epstein Case

Following a 2018 financial settlement between Florida attorney Bradley Edwards - who represented one of Epstein's accusers, only to be later sued by Epstein, Edwards claimed that Donald Trump was the 'only person' who provided assistance when Edwards served subpoenas and notices to high-profile individuals connected to Epstein.

Edwards: The only thing that I can say about President Trump is that he is the only person who, in 2009 when I served a lot of subpoenas on a lot of people, or at least gave notice to some pretty connected people, that I want to talk to them, is the only person who picked up the phone and said, let’s just talk. I’ll give you as much time as you want. I’ll tell you what you need to know, and was very helpful, in the information that he gave, and gave no indication whatsoever that he was involved in anything untoward whatsoever, but had good information. That checked out and that helped us and we didn’t have to take a deposition of him in 2009.

rickman2

The theory is Trump is rewarding Acosta with helping to protect him and Epstein. So 16 years ago Trump said "Hey, Acosta, thanks for protecting me and Epstein. If I'm ever President, I'll give you a job."

Unless someone can uncover proof Trump paid Acosta, this theory is nonsense.

Vindicator

It also requires Trump to be a moron, which he obviously is not.

Stable Genius is setting a huge trap. Sit back and watch it unfold

letsdothis3

Yes, that's interesting, isn't it it?

think-

What really annoys me is that Trump said something along the line of 'aww, that was so long ago'.

Right. For Epstein's victim, that wasn't 'so long ago'. They still suffer every day.

Piscina

'That was so long ago' because the perpetrators have probably raped hundreds since then and have continued to live their lives as if nothing happene.d

Kekistani_SS

Yes, that was fucked up. It was a weak defense, made Trump look bad and complicit. I think Trump is in trouble.

shewhomustbeobeyed

Did he really say that? Figures.

Now i have to watch the damned video, I hate videos.

think-

:-P
